My friend and I rented this fabulous apartment over the Christmas holidaysm and I highly recommend it. It was spacious, extremely comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, and very WARM - which we loved on the 30 degree days. The stairs ended up being much less a problem than we anticipated. Making the rental arrangements with Annabelle was easy and professional. I have rented VRBO apartments all over the world, and this is easily one of the best I've stayed in.

| This apartment was a perfect fit for our stay in Paris. The location is excellent and the apartment is a very good find for Paris for size, quality, and location. Owners were excellent and so was the concierge and his wife. It could not have been better, we will come back again. |

| We had four people in this roomy, well kept apartment and loved the location in the center of the bustling Marais district. Miguel and Annabelle were very helpful with pre-arrangements. The district is perfect for walking to a variety of activities and very convenient to enjoying many cafe's and shops up and down the quaint streets surrounding the apartment. |

This is a beautiful and well-kept apartment. We stayed here as a group of five for a week in February, and found that we had plenty of room. Annabelle is wonderful in every way, and was always available to answer all of our questions over email. The apartment is very well located, very secure (with a concierge who always popped out to ask us about our day or to offer us directions), and extremely quiet. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this apartment. |

This apartment is just wonderful and Annabelle and Miguel are great! This trip was my 3rd to Paris, for work and pleasure. The location was wonderful for sightseeing, getting to the Metro for work, and for seeing much more of Paris than if we had been at a hotel the entire trip. The accommodations were first class, and very comfortable. The building is also so quiet, and the neighbors very friendly. We met 2 neighbors who were gracious and very kind. I would highly recommend this apartment. It is comfortable, in a great area for dining, shopping, and walking to other arrondisements. Thank you for a great stay! |

| I just returned from a wonderful 4-night stay at your lovely apartment. I was in awe of the accomodations as soon as I walked through the door. The Le Marais location is fabulous; the view from the apartment windows .... breathtaking! Everything we four girls needed was within walking distance ... shopping, restaurants, markets, attractions, etc. And by the end of the trip I was thankful for the flights of stairs, after all that I ate (phenomonal meals and desserts)! And what better way to wind down each day then by coming home and relaxing in the apartment's living room with a bottle of wine, a loaf of bread, cheese and desserts! I highly recommend these accomodations, and Miguel was great. To my girlfriends, thanks for such a memorable experience!! |

| This is a GREAT apartment!! Restaurants close by, groceries, and the metro is soooo easy, and the best "stop" to catch other trains. There is a pastry shop, where several times we picked up dinner, quiche, sandwiches, and of course, a few treats. Le Marais is a wonderful area, and I would love to move there. This is the ONLY way to visit Paris, coming "home", after a long day of sightseeing. The only bad aspect is the lack of a lift. But, our thighs look better, and I did not gain a pound!! |

My daughter and I stayed here the last 2 weeks of November. It was a great place to celebrate Thanksgiving at a wonderful restaurant just down the street. The 94 stairs allowed for great desserts . Apartment is close to the Metro and walking distance to everything. Very nice to come back and relax in the 2 over stuffed leather chairs and couch. It is a large, open apartment and I loved the doors that opened onto the balcony. Highly recommend this apartment. |

We stayed here just before Christmas and loved it. It's a beautiful and spacious apartment, the owner was very easy to work with ahead of time and we loved the location.
Rue St. Antoine is nearby and there are many shops. Just around the corner are bakeries, butcher shops and many, many cafes and restaurants. We went by Notre Dame several times as it was just a 10 minute walk away.
The apartment is on the 5th floor but we found that to be fine - simply ate more to compensate. We had our 2 kids with us and they loved the apartment. They had space and enjoyed the TV on occasion. The kitchen is exceptional and we cooked a couple of meals.
I hope to return and will happily stay here again.

| Each November I travel to Paris with women friends, leaving husbands and children behind for a few days. This year we rented this gorgeous apartment. Our mouths dropped as the door opened into this light and airy apartment. For three it was more than spacious enough. We entertained other friends who were in the city and were able to stock the cook's kitchen with the bounty of Sunday's Bastille (Avenue Richard Lenoir) market. Magnifique! Close to the subway, near great buslines and positioned well for any needs -- water, wine, crepes or fabulous baked goods -- even a nearby post office. Each of us found an opportunity to speak of when we hope to be back again -- this time with families! |

| We enjoyed a lovely 10 day stay in Paris, the apartment was perfect for the 6 of us ( 4 children ages 11 - 15). We were there during the excitement of the World Cup, it did get a bit noisy, but I think this was due to the festivities. Great location, all the necessities, spacious. Internet was down during our stay, as well as the phone...would have been nice but not needed. The stairs would be the drawback (96 of them!) but if you're in good health you'll just be a bit winded after spending a full day in the city. Would do it again in a heartbeat. |

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment - its location and open and spacious layout made it ideal for our family of 5. Our sons ages 12, 10 & 6 enjoyed the neighborhood and learned their way around quite easily. They loved picking up our bread at the nearby boulangerie and especially playing in the neighborhood parks after a day of sightseeing, where they picked up ping-pong games with local children! We would most definately reommend this apartment - Miguel, Annebelle & Franklin made renting and staying in Paris and absolute pleasure. |

This location is the best you will find on VRBO at any price. The flat had tons of space for my energetic 8 & 10 year old boys. Impromptu pavement football with local boys was the highlight of their trip. I even have pictures of each writing in his journal on the very narrow wrap around balcony with the classic Parisian roofs in the background. They felt so at home in the neighborhood & flat that by the end of our stay they felt safe to stay home watching DVDs (we brought from home) while my husband & I went out late for dinner. Franklin, Annabelle & Miguel worked hard to make our stay in June enjoyable; handling all requests immediately & professionally. Would happily come back en famille or with another couple.

Let me first start by saying that I literally investigated over 50 apartments and hotels before settling on this gem in the heart of Paris. If you are looking for a place to stay in Paris...look no further! I can say without a doubt, that this apartment will exceed all your needs and wants.
Location: The location is absolutely perfect. If you prefer walking throughout the city, this apartment will allow you to do so. If you prefer taking public transportation, the Metro is a 5 minute walk away. Cafes surround the apartment as well as excellent Parisian shopping. Feel the need to bring some wine, cheese, snacks or other groceries back to the apartment? Just walk out the door right into numerous neighborhood markets or wine and cheese shops.
Amenities: Our party of four (2 adult married couples) stayed here for four days. The large sized common area allows you to share a bottle of wine and cheese with your closest friends while soaking in the breath taking view of Paris. In addition the completely private bedrooms allow you to enjoy the romantic side of Paris in your very own apartment. The full-sized kitchen, washer & dryer, TV, and stereo complete the gorgeously decorated apartment.
Information: The information provided in the apartment will satisfy all your needs. Over 50 recommended restaurants, maps, books, telephone numbers, and anything else you may require is all within a reach of your hand. Not only that, but Miguel is only a phone call away to answer any questions that you may have.
Take my words, rent this apartment and you will feel like you actually live in Paris.

| Our family of 5 spent a wonderful week in this magnificent apartment. The location is perfect. We walked to absolutely every part of Paris. The cafes in the Marais offer variety and the food is excellent. We enjoyed having a late lunch and coming home to the apartment's beautiful kitchen for dinner. The fourth floor climb was good exercise to work off the morning croissants. Having a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher was a real luxury. Every evening we enjoyed watching the lights of the Eiffel Tower from the loft window. The best benefit of this apartment is not only free internet, but free phone calling to the just about any country in the world. I was able to share every day with my elderly parents back in the states. If you are going to Paris, I would not hesitate to rent this apartment. I really don't think there are many like it in Paris. |

Reserving this wonderful apartment for my solo trip may have raised a few eyebrows (2 bedrms, 2 baths for one!), but what a great place to host my great escape (from an usual house full of children). I enjoyed every bit of the space and sometimes had to force myself outside. Bright and airy, with every convenience, it was easy to find hours pass in the morning over breakfast, reading up on the places I should be out visiting (in the many guidebooks in the "library"), while a load laundry ran.
Miguel was so helpful. His help made negotiation of the stairs, traveling alone with too much luggage, a non-issue. The tips about the neighborhood were a nice touch. I really enjoyed this neighborhood and location within Paris. It was very easy to get everywhere I wanted to go and I really got to know Le Marais on this trip. I will always check on this apartment's availability whenever I have the opportunity to return to Paris. (Franklin was so easy to work with.) |

Franklin, We had a wonderful stay in Paris. My 15 year old claims "IT WAS THE Best Vacation EVER!" We were so comfortable in your apartment. It was perfect for our family of 5. We felt like were living in Paris as opposed to "visiting" which is how we would have felt in a hotel. We loved le Marais and all that it had to offer...restaurants, easy transportation options, friendly people, and shopping! The apartment was comfortable and convenient. The information that you had available was very helpful as we navigated our way through Paris. My three children loved the computer and could stay in touch with their friends at home with instant messages and email. Thanks again. If we are able to return to Paris in the future we would certainly return to your apartment! |

| Our family of four stayed in this apartment for five days in June and couldn't have been more pleased. It is very spacious, full of light, and has all the amenities to make you feel at home. The stairs are work after a long day of touring but the apartment and it's wonderful location are definately worth the exercise. Our teenagers loved the computer upstairs to stay in contact with friends. We'll be staying here again someday... |

| We so enjoyed our week in Paris in this lovely apartment. It was such fun being part of a neighborhood and frequenting the shops of the area for our dinner supplies. The apartment was well appointed; the outlook wonderful; the stairs? yes, they were a challenge but we were equal to it----even with our arthritic knees! Franklin is a terrific landlord. We only had a short stay in Paris and were very lucky that Franklin had a four day vacancy exactly on the days we needed. We,(five adults), were there March 29-April 2, 2004. Having the apartment really made our trip to Paris. The apartment is light and cheerful, has all the amenities, and is in a terrific location. Franklin was most helpful, answering questions about Paris, suggesting places to see, and even arranging for our taxi to the airport when we had trouble with the French language. The stairs were a challenge, but we managed, even though three of us were in the "golden oldie" category (two over eighty). I can assure you that, if we ever get to Paris again, we will try and stay at this apartment.

| This was our third trip to Paris in the last four years and most enjoyable by far, due in large part to the delightful ambience of Franklin Craig's Maris apartment. Traveling with our three semi-adult children, (sons 21, 25, daughter 17) the apartment was a perfect alternative to the generally small and expensive hotel rooms. Everyone was comfortable between the beds, foldout sofa and cot. The 2 1/2 baths eliminated morning traffic jams. The fully equipped and spacious kitchen was wonderful for cooking and provided the opportunity to dine-in with other family that was visiting Paris. We had a wonderful dinner for seven around the table in the dining room. Washer and Dryer was very convenient during our 8 night stay. Highly recommended for those with family or group. Look forward to returning to the apartment during our next trip. |

We have just spent three weeks in Franklin’s apartment (Feb.March 04) and we can not say much more than all of the other comments here. It was great and lived up to every expectation. It was more like living in someone’s home than a rented apartment – as though Franklin had just moved out and we moved in. All the personal touches were there – the artwork, the bookshelves, the furniture, the kitchen …. It is light and airy with a feeling of spaciousness - and the location was perfect with so much character the moment we stepped into the street. This apartment really made our holiday. Thanks Franklin

I have stayed in a number of apartments in Paris over the years--from dirt cheap ones that smelled ferociously of dog to wildly expensive ones in which much of our time was spent waiting for repair people to come and fix things. This is without question the nicest apartment with the most obliging owner and the best qualité/prix ratio I have found. The location is marvelous, the apartment is spacious, well-maintained and comfortable, and you feel as much "in Paris" when you stay at home for the evening as when you venture out on the town. We are repeat customers and look forward to our next visit. The only drawback is the stairs, which are a considerable impediment if you have health or mobility issues (or perhaps small children), but since we are from San Francisco and have to cope not only with stairs but also with hills, we are used to it. |

| Do yourself a favor and book this apartment. It's beautiful, comfortable, elegant and full of light. It will complete your experience in Paris. The location is amazing -- within walking distance to metro stations, grocery stores, street markets, boutiques, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Place des Vosges...I could go on and on. Although we ate like kings on this trip, we actually lost weight due to all of the stair-climbing and walking we did! Franklin is so friendly and helpful, as were Miguel (who let us in) and the concierge, who always had a friendly word for us. For those of you who like to be connected while on vacation, the PC in the loft with internet connection is a huge plus! There is a library of guidebooks and novels to read while you're soaking in the deep tub. The dressing room was the perfect place for our 16 month-old's portable crib. We had a wonderful time there and can't wait to come back. |

| Franklin is a terrific host and the flat provides a wonderful home base for visiting Paris......near metro and wonderful restaurants and shopping. The apartment is fully equipped and roomy. This is my fourth trip to Paris and I have stayed in several apartments before. The Marais is my favorite area because of its neighborhood feel. Place des Vosges in nearby, as are the Pompidou and Picasso Museum. My favorite night time activity was crossing Rue de Rivoli and walking down St. Paul to the Seine, taking along a dinner and a bottle of wine we had bought at the stores along the way. Even though Paris isn't my home, it makes me feel "homesick" for Paris as I write |

| Two architects, one from the US and another from Germany got together for a long weekend in Paris. For about the same price as a room in a fair hotel, we were able to rent Franklin's absolutely wonderful flat. Views are incredible from up high in the mansard portion of a 19th century apartment building. There is even a walkway around this corner unit. Notre Dame, La Tour Eiffel, Sacre Coeur and Centre Pompidou are all within view from the many windows. The room on the top level with the best views has an internet connection and provides you a great setting to deal with back home items and send out greetings. If you do not like bumping into furniture and other people in a hotel room, this place is a terrific alternative for long or short stays. The place is totally equipped and makes you feel right at home with all the comfy sofas. The closest thing I could say bad is that they should let Franklin renovate the public areas of the apartment building and get rid of replacement windows. |

| I stayed at Franklin's apartment for 5 weeks starting mid Jan 03 while on a short business assignment. The apartment is simply stunning and in the best location of Paris. My wife and daughter joined me for a couple of weeks and a friend and his wife spent another week with me. We were all thrilled with the apartment and continuously commented how fortunate that we were not stuck in some hotel. The apartment is very large for Paris standards and is ideal for a couple and one or two other persons (this is not an apartment to be used as a hostel for lots of people). The rooms are large and the large windows give it an airy atmosphere. The kitchen is truly a dream kitchen - granite counter tops, a large refrigerator with a separate large freezer (plenty of ice making capability!), cooking utensils galore, toaster, microwave, electric tea pot, electric coffee maker, etc. etc. The matching granite top table in the kitchen became the central breakfast and dinner table. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, an adjacent separate dressing room, and a huge marbled bathroom with a large tub and separate glass enclosed shower. On the main floor is also the living room with a TV with CNN and BBC English speaking news channels and the dinning room with the stereo system electronics (the tower speakers are in the living room). The small quaint upper loft has a single bed, a large desk with a computer with ADSL internet access, and a 1/2 bath with a micro shower stall and a sink (the toilet used by those in the loft is the powder room toilet on the main floor. The views from the apartment are quintessential Paris - the small narrow streets lined with buildings with the classical looking facades. Within a few blocks of the apartment are two metro stops - St Paul on Line 1 being the closest - and key shops such as a bakery and a mini-mart. Basic food shops are open on Sundays since the apartment is in the border of the Jewish section of Paris. The stairs are the main drawback of this otherwise superb apartment - the apartment is on the 4th floor and requires a total of five flights of stairs to climb. Those not accustomed to stairs or have any knee or leg problem should reconsider use of this apartment. On the stairs subject - the stairs to the apartment loft are very steep and the bottom portion has no handrails so be very careful (specially coming back down). In summary, if you are physically fit and do not mind climbing 5 flights of stairs to reach it, Franklin's apartment in the 4th Arondissement is a spectacular place to stay while exploring Paris. |

| I’ve been told that nobody’s more choosy than I am. I have very high standards and those standards led me to see 50+ apts before I chose one in Paris for my 6-month stay. Now, while I will not be staying at this apt (it was no longer available for the entire period), I have to say that it was among the top 3. And that’s out of not 50, but probably, 200+ since I previewed so many apts on the internet (and in offices of relocation agents) that didn’t make it to the “visit list.” The apt’s bright, spacious, has beautiful hardwood flooring, is updated, is in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris (well located/historical). And for the square footage, it’s well priced. The only negative is that it’s a walk-up, but you’re not going to be there forever (I realized this a little too late). If you’re lucky enough to have it available while you’re in Paris, I say, “Book it.” And to top it off, Franklin’s easy to work with. Enjoy Paris! It’s a great city. |

| This appartment actualy has all the ammeneties that they say they do, and it all works! As a Hotelier who is used to travelling often,( with my family and I entertain) the comforts available in this appartment put it in a class of its own.The American size Kitchen is unheard of in Paris,as is that fact that they are 3 bathrooms, one in each bedroom and one in the lounge for guests. The roof top views are classic Paris and the fashionable location in the Marais must make this the classiest appartment i have rented in Paris for a long time.We did not cook as much as we thought we would due to all the excellent restaurants in the streets below , and frankly i question the logic of a cramped hotel room or so called apparthotel, when this type of appartment; equipped , furnished and serviced exists. |

| So muany places we wanted to stay in paris, and somehow we managed to end up in the marais. It is definately the current cultural hot point of the city. The Appartment is not your average Parisian experience that we were forewarned . This is a large spacious comfortable noise free envoirnment, with a unique upstairs downstairs arrangement for guests or kids.Everyone gets their own bathroom, and there is one in the lounge .The kitchen was uniqly huge by parisian standards, as you could cook and eat, although there were so many unbelievable restaurants literally on the doorstep, the incentive to cook at home was not high.Wooden floors, marble bathrooms, huge french windows opening with a stunning roof top view on the Beaubourg centre, hot water, plenty of storage space and comfortable furniture to slouch in after killing your feet waliking the city. Its \definately my favourite Paris address |

The kitchen has good karma and is huge by Parisan standards. We had many family and friends in there cooking up quite a storm. All modern appliances, huge fridge. The living room is very comfortable. It's easy to kick back and read the paper on the couch. The big, bright marble (master) bathroom has a window and tub that's great for soaking. They have a picture of it under the "More photos" There is also an upstairs bedroom that lets you get away. The apartment itself is located on a high floor with views on two exposures. The low-key, hip Marais neighborhood has restaurants, is convenient for grocery shopping, is full of galleries and is fun. I recommend this place for a classy, Parisian experience. If you rent it, please take care of it. We definitely will be returning. Mr. Craig and his wife were gracious landlords.
