WOW!! My husband and two small children stayed in this great apartment and truly enjoyed it. Paolo is stellar. Charming and accomodating. He referred us to a restaurant called Zigaetana and the price was great. A five minute walk to the Vatican, and we did the Hop on hop off bus for two days. The apartment is larger than the pictures. No regrets and will be back!!! |

Our family of four stayed in this lovely apartment in the heat of the summer and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our very early arrival was accommodated and Fabio and Paolo were available for any concerns/questions/suggestions that we required. The apartment itself is lovely and spacious and we couldn't imagine a better location to enjoy this fabulous city. We only took a taxi once during our week here. We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted! We hope to return one day!

My adult son and I spent four days in this lovely apartment. We can only echo the many positive comments before us. Pauolo our host was very helpful and available when we needed him for local info. The apartment is comfortable, very clean, AC and internet were great and the location can't be beat.It was nice to have the elevator for our luggage and when my feet were tired from walking all day.

Four of us stayed at Paolo's apt for 3 days the first week of June; the accomadation met our needs perfectly; it is located only 2 blocks from St. Peter's Square and a 10 minute walk to the entrance of the Vatican Museum; there are many, many restaurants in the neighborhood and excellent shopping; the apt was large and roomy and internet access was available 24/7. Paolo, himself, helped arrange our transportation needs from the cruise port and to the airport; I highly recommend a stay here.

My family of four stayed at San Peter and Paul's House for 6 nights. We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is quiet, very clean, comfortable, spacious, and in a safe area. The location cannot be beat -- a few minutes walk to the Vatican, buses and taxis right around the corner, a few blocks to the Metro, grocery store, shops and restaurants nearby. We ate breakfast and some dinners at the apartment which saved us a lot of money. Paolo is very friendly and responsive to any problems. He lent us his laptop, which is very important especially when there are teen-agers in the family! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Rome.

We just returned from our stay at St Peter and Paul's House and it was truly fabulous! Paolo, unfortunately, was out of town on a family emergency but he managed to contact us by phone to make sure we had everything we needed. He is so kind and helpful; even arranging a car to pick us up at the airport. Fabio, the doorman, was also very helpful. The building was so beautiful and well maintained. The apartment itself is huge, clean and comfortable (the photos don't do it justice.). The location is perfect only minutes from the Vatican. We will absolutely stay here again when visiting Roma! Thank you Paola and Fabio for making our stay remarkable.

Apartment is located in a great building, that’s very well maintained and has an elevator. Paulo, the owner is an unbelievably charming and accommodating gentleman. He speaks English, Spanish and is very, very considerate without being intrusive. Fabio, the building doorman is a great guy, who can recommend a great place for dinner. The apartment is very spacious, with large rooms, high ceilings, vast hallway and two separate bathrooms, and a very cozy sit-down well-equipped kitchen. It’s a perfect place for at home made breakfast, and to gather for a nightcap, or hot tea in the evening after a full day of seeing the sights in Rome. The location is absolutely great, walking minutes away from the Vatican, subway, shopping, and within walking distance from the city center. There’s a great produce market and a supermarket within 3 minute walk, a taxi stand right around the corner, and a coffee shop with fantastic pastries and gelato that seems to be always open. The Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s basilica are literally 3-5 minutes away by a leisurely walk, and there is a restaurant alley Via Borgo Pio. The area is very safe and quiet at night, and full of activity with tourists and shoppers during the day.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Europe and our stay at Paolo's San Peter and Paul's House was one of the great highlights of our trip! The photos don't even come close to showing what a beautiful and classy apartment this is. It's in the perfect location, a couple of blocks from the Vatican, and is so much larger than we expected. We stepped outside each morning to the glories of Rome and looked forward each day to returning to our wonderful place. Paolo couldn't have been more accomodating or nicer and we look forward to the next time we go to Rome...this is where we'll stay!

This is a fabulous, spacious apartment and Paolo, the host, is most gracious. I love to cook on vacation, so the only thing I would recommend for the kitchen is a Coffee pot, dishtowels, and a big serving spoon. A hair dryer would also be nice to have available in the bathroom. The apartment is in a great location. Close to markets and the Vatican. Easy access to the hop on hop off bus. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. We were worried that the apartment would be smoky since the VRBO site said it allowed smoking - but there was no evidence of cigarette smoke in the apartment. Overall we had a wonderful time and loved the apartment.

We were so impressed by Paolo and the apartment. He is a very kind, gracious man and went the extra mile to make sure that we had everything we needed. He was available to answer any questions we had, was willing to be flexible on our booking (we added a night). Beyond Paolo, the owner/ manager, were surprised that the photos of the unit misrepresented the unit. The unit is much larger and more well equipped than the photos show. And it was clean! Couldn't have asked for a better location...gelato just outside the front door and just beyond that, the Vatican. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Not many things in life surprises me. Maybe because I am very demanding person. When I contact Mr. Zagami to rent his apartment, I did have a great impression of this guy however I could not expected that the apartment live is much better than the pictures I saw in the website.
We were in 5 and our stay was just perfect. The building is more than well situated and everything inside definitely fulfils our needs.
Mr. Paolo could not see us on the first night but we were well greeted from the guardian of the building Mr. Fabio.
The place is clean, well-equipped and very charming. I surely recommend to anyone who cares for quality and good things. Our trip makes a big difference with this excellent place to stay. In a few months my friends and I are arranging again to go back to Rome and if we are lucky, we will find St. Peter’s and Paul house available.

Our stay in San Peter and Paul's house was truly an enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted at the main door of the building by Fabio (the guardian of the building). He is very nice, charming and helpful in recommending a few restaurants for us to have a great meal our first night. Fabio called Paolo (the owner of the apartment and who was away on business but took the time from his business to welcome us) and we spoke to him on the phone and he spoke perfect english and you could tell he was very well-educated. Upon Paolo's return from his business trip, he came to the apartment to greet us in person and we would have to say that Paolo's warmth, generosity and hospitality was above and beyond what we ever expected and more than we ever would have received from a hotel.
The apartment is located in a quiet building and is on the 3rd floor which has stairs and also an elevator. The building is centrally located to all the major tourist attractions wherein you can easily walk to. There is a terrace at the top of the building (maybe if you ask Paolo or Fabio, he might be able to take you to it as it's locked) that has a phenominal view of Rome and the Vatican which you could take pictures if you wanted to. St. Peter's square is a 5 min walk and is beautiful to experience at night.
This spacious apartment was very suitable to our needs. From the well-equipped modern kitchen to the two bathrooms, which are essential for a family, to the bedrooms...you feel comfortable and welcome. The decor has a touch of antiques yet also a touch of modern. We loved the fact that the windows could be opened and the wooden shutters could be opened in the morning to let the sun & fresh air in but at night able to close them to cut down on the street traffic. We were able to be tourists but also you could feel like locals as we shopped for groceries at the nearby markets. The neighborhood is very safe even when we walked at night. The markets, cafes, restaurants, taxis, buses were all located just around the corner of the building and wonderful places to shop all around.
We would highly recommend this apartment and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me rboyd at coxandpalmerdotcom |

Our stay in this lovely apartment helped to make our first trip to Rome even more special. It is quite spacious, clean and comfortable. The location in a vibrant, upscale residential neighborhood(just a block from the Vatican) is very convenient to lots of shopping and restaurants. A short and pleasant walk across the Tiber leads one to the much celebrated Piazza Navona and so many of the other places you will want to visit. Our host who also lives in the building was very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely recommend San Peter and Paul's house to our friends.

My family of 7 stayed in this place from 30 Aug 08 to 1 Sep 08. It was everything we needed for visiting the Eternal City! Very clean with updated appliances, the Vatican Walls were visible from the front of the building and a walk to Saint Peter's Basilica took only 5 minutes. Plenty of good and affordable dining facilities nearby. We were most impressed by the personal touch by the owner who arranged parking for our minivan. Most definitely will stay there again when we travel back to Rome. If you have a question about my stay, please contact me at twelsh5013 at yahoo.
