| We stayed at the "Bates Suites" during our vacation in July 2009. Sherman, the property manager, was fantastic! He went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us make our stay enjoyable. We can't thank you enough Sherman! The house was clean and very close to everything. It had everything we needed. It took us just minutes to get downtown. You won't be able to find another place with a great location and property manager. |

| Our two families stayed at the Bates Suite during spring break and loved it. It is very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities that we hoped for (and then some). It was quite convenient, too, for our downtown sightseeing. We loved it! |

We stayed here recently for a conference at the DC convention centre, and it was great. The location was convenient (a 10-15 min walk to the convention centre), and the house was very clean and all supplies (linens, towels etc.) provided. The pictures are an accurate representation--it is an older rowhouse that has been renovated. The property manager is very helpful and easily reachable via email and cellphone. I would not necessarily recommend walking around the neighbourhood at night, but during the daytime the area was fine. It is a short cab ride from many restaurants/nightlife. |

| The Condo was wonderful. Sherman was fantastic. My family was arriving from all around the country on different flights. While I was busy getting people from the airport, Sherman took my mother to the grocery for a few neccessities! What service! The Home was immacualte, and ready for us. The neighboorhood, is one on the rebound. It was a treat to see its' history being preserved. Many great Americans once called this neigborhood home. One cabdriver refered to this as "the place Harlem wanted to be." I think he was right. We did not rent a car. We used cabs and the Metro. We made Union Station our "center". We found we could always catch a cab from that location. This condo made our trip magical. |

A lovely, charmingly remodeled home in a convenient location. We were able to easily walk to the Metro every morning to begin our exploration of the sights of D.C. The kitchen was supplied with more items than one would expect in a vacation rental; there was a George Foreman grill, a toaster oven, and a crockpot, along with the stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The washer and dryer are a handy touch for a long stay. The three upstairs bedrooms are nicely sized, with very comfortable beds. There are two full bathrooms upstairs, and there is also a convenient 1/2 bath on the main floor. The property manager met us at the home and showed us how to operate the television and made sure we could access the wireless internet. He was very kind and helped us with lots of local information and ideas for sight-seeing. He showed us exactly where the the Metro stop is, and made sure we felt entirely comfortable and settled before he left. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfy and convenient base for exploring D.C. and the surrounding area. |
