| All we could say when we arrived at this cabin is, “WOW! We didn’t expect so much!” And the first impression is only the beginning of what we discovered to be a great place to stay. The bedroom arrangement was perfect for two couples. Each of us could close doors and have our own little suite of bedroom and bathroom. The master bedroom has a beautiful view of the mountain and the valley, both of which were lush and green. And we had a good look at three bighorn sheep that decided to visit the neighborhood while we were there. The kitchen is complete. Don’t bring a toaster, a Dutch oven, dishtowels, dish soap, or an SOS pad—everything is there for your use. There is even a microwave and dishwasher. This cabin has all the comforts of home. We arranged the chairs around the dining room table so that all of us could enjoy the view of the mountain. A fire in the woodstove made the living room cozy and warm. We took pictures of the card table that we fashioned out of a big drum. You have to see it to believe it! There is even a good selection of CDs to play on the player that is provided. We could not have asked for more (we expected much less), and we would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone. |

We got what we were looking for a veiw, log house, clean, peaceful, wild animals, river nearby and more. We were in the area to put our son in college at Adam State in Alamosa. The drive was about 50 minuite from cabin to college. After site seeing at the end of the day we all were ready to go back to the cabin. I loved the veiw from the master bed room window! It would be wonderful if there was a deck off the master bedroom and dining room. With a roof over top of deck. I wish we had spend more time at the cabin. Deron was great to work with and seem very down to earth. He was helpful with information that we needed. I would stay again and again! Our cell phones and lap top had no reception. There is a phone in the cabin that we could used with our calling card. We needed more than a week at this log cabin. I started missing it two days before leaving. Thank you, Glenda |
