This vacation home was perfect for our family get-together. The backyard was perfect for our young children to run around in and the community pool and park also suited our needs perfectly. The house came with all the essentials. You can rest assured that in case of an emergency, your hosts will respond quickly and solve the problem. (I am referring to a hot water tank leak that was taken care of VERY quickly, THANK YOU!!!)

The mountain bikers( 6 of us) from Wisconsin stayed for a week in early March. We had great weather and rode and enjoyed the beatifull terrain in and around the Phoenix area. Kobey's place was a great place to head out from, and then retreat back to. Always enjoyed the hottub after a hard day on the trails. The kitchen was top notch and enjoyed staying in and cooking some great feasts. Can't wait till next spring when we can do it all over again. Thanks Kobey for the great accommodations.

What a great place to stay. We as well as our two Westies loved it. The skiing at Sunrise was great. Given we have skied a lot in France and Switzerland we were very happy with the conditions at Sunrise. As Arnold said we will be back.

We had a great time with our extended family at Kobey's Desert Oasis. The house is absolutely beautiful and the weather was fantastic. We spent many afternoons and evenings at the community pool and hot tub. We also enjoyed the hot tub on site. We had 12 people in the house, and we were very comfortable. We hope to go again!

We were 17 family members for the Thanksgiving vacation. We enjoyed all the comforts of this beautiful home. It was so much better than trying to accomodate everyone in motel rooms. We had a wonderful stay and found everything we needed for a great family reunion.

My family had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home back in February 2008. We were visiting the Phoenix area with my daughter's gymnastic team. We shared this home with 5 other families. It was quite comfortable and all of its amenities were perfect for our group. It is also very conveniently located within the Phoenix and surrounding area.

Wow! Fantastic! We get to stay here?! That describes the reactions from our grandchildren when we first walked into Kobeys Desert Oasis. The house was perfect for our family of 19 while visiting the Phoenix area over Easter 2008. The amenities or the property from the "Green" fenced backyard to the quiet front patio were just what we needed for our getaway. We appreciated the personal touch that both Guy and Dixie showed us during our stay. If you have a large family or group we highly recommend you contact Guy for a stay at the Desert Oasis.

Four generations of my family met at this property for a long weekend to celebrate my grandparent's 60th anniversary. The house was spacious and well stocked for all of our needs - from crib and changing table to pool towels. We cooked or grilled all of our meals at the house. The kitchen and outdoor grill were great. Our favorite spot in the house was actually the front porch at night with the water feature and fireplace running. My grandparents had a wonderful weekend and can't stop talking about our trip weeks later. Thanks for giving us all the weekend of a lifetime!

Location, Location, Location. My wife and I needed a week long vacation in a beautiful area with lots of sunshine. Kobey's Cozy Desert Oasis was just the ticket. We enjoyed the location being north of the busy city, but close enough to shopping (for my wife)restruants (for me) and lots of hiking and walking around the neighborhood (for both of us). Beautiful house with everything you need and more for a restful vacation. I have recommended this resort oasis to many of our friends. My wife and I would return in a minute. Don't pass this one up.

My daughter's gymnastics team recently visited Phoenix for a meet, and we decided to rent a home instead of staying in a hotel. There were 6 families, and we were all pleasantly surprised at how much room we had & how beautifully decorated the house was. We would highly recommend one of Mr. Koby's homes to anyone visiting the Phoenix area!!!

This house was perfect for our crew of 8 golfers. Pleanty of space for all. The home is nicely appointed with many amenities. The spa and plasma TV on the back patio were definite favorites! Great area, close to Troon North and many great courses. We will surely re-visit in the future! Thanks Guy for your hospitality!

For anyone looking for a very beautiful 6 bedroom home, very tastfuly decorated with lots of elbow room and bathrooms, this is the place for you. The backyard was very large with private spa and plasma tv visible from the privacy of the spa. The neighborhood was very upscale and very quite, close to shopping and many good resturants. If you are a golfer you will love the proximity to many of pheonix's best golf courses, our favorite was rancho manana, challeging yet forgiving for all levels of play. The panarama from the upper holes was quite stunning. Have a good time and don't hesitate to rent this beauty.

My family and friends spent 2 weeks at Kobey's Cozy Desert Oasis over the Thanksgiving holiday 2007. The home is incredibly lush and inviting. We were greeted shortly after arrival by the owner, who graciously gave us a tour and provided general information and instructions. We enjoyed the great weather, fantastic golf, a huge Thanksgiving dinner in the formal dining room with invited relatives from the Phoenix area, and relaxed in the hot tub or enjoyed unlimited cable shows and movies almost every night. We highly recommend this vacation home, and hope to stay at another Kobey vacation home in the near future.

My family and friends went to Arizona for my husbands graduation for his under-grad this past summer. We stayed at Kobey's Cozy Desert Oasis and IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PERFECT. Gorgeous home, decorated beautifully, it met ALL our needs (at the time, our son was 17 months old so he was at the walking/climbing/exploring stage) They have everything baby-proof but it's all custom and fits into the decor beautifully (unlike most things you buy to baby-proof a home). We did have to draw names to see who was going to get that WONDERFUL master suite and bathroom though! :) I highly recommend this rental property. Mr. Kobey could not have been more nice and accomdating! I just wish he had property in North Carolina (which is where we are planning our next family vacation)!

My friends and I spent an extended weekend at the Desert Oasis with our 7 children (ages 6 months to 4 years). The Kobey's were very accomodating to all of our needs. The house was beautiful and we loved the neighborhood pool, including the kiddie pool. With the HUGE gas grill and hot tub we didn't need to leave the house the whole weekend. We'd definitely recommend this vacation spot to all of our friends!

The Desert Oasis was a delight. I was one of the women with the Sorority reunion and so pleased with everything. Considering many of us had not seen one another in 28 years, the Desert Oasis offered us wonderful gathering spaces as well as plenty of private space if and when needed. We were pleased to find that groceries and necessities were just a short distance away. I would definately recommend the "Desert Oasis" to others.

This wonderful house exceeded our expectations and proved to be the perfect venue for our reunion. We are a group of 12 sorority sisters from Colorado who wanted to celebrate our 50th birthdays together. During our 4-day, 3 night weekend, we gathered often in the family room and by the front patio fireplace. We prepared several meals in the spacious kitchen and gathered together in the dining room to enjoy them. Several of us played tennis on the neighborhood courts and enjoyed sunning at the pool. The location provides easy access to a grocery store and Highway 17, so it was simple to shop and sightsee. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, and only 3 queen beds had to be shared (amazing for a group of 12). We only ran into one maintenance issue all weekend and Guy (the owner) came to fix it that very day. In fact, he called us each day to be sure all was well in the house. He could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. I'd never rented a place through the internet before and was frankly, concerned that this could be too good to be true. Within 15 minutes in the house, we knew we'd made the right choice. I'd love to think of another excuse to use this great place. Thank you, Guy!

Four couples who love to travel together stayed at this beautiful home for a week. The rooms were lovely and there was plenty of space to accomodate those who liked to watch TV (the men were glued to the televised Barrett-Jackson auction) and those who wanted to relax and read. The location was a good one- out of the main part of the city, yet close to shopping and banking. Although the week we chose was chilly, we can imagine how wonderful it would be to enjoy either the hot tub in the backyard, or sitting out by the beautiful fireplace and enjoying the view from the front courtyard. The home is beautifully appointed and it was a pleasure to return to after a full day of sightseeing. We would recommend this home to anyone who appreciated all the comforts of home. Many thanks to Guy and Dixie for allowing others to share this beautiful property!

Our family of eleven wanted someplace to stay where we could interact and also have our own space. We found this on the internet and upon arriving we were so pleased, the house was all that and more...beautifully decorated, family friendly and perfect for a large gathering. The kitchen area was our daily ritual to catch up on family memories, upcoming events...so much fun. We used the community pool (a pleasant 2 block walk away) Clean and perfectly located for a nice view of the desert and hills; the tennis courts and well maintained playground were there also. Grandchildren loved it. The hottub in the backyard was used and the men watched football on the bigscreen which was perfectly located on the back covered patio. We were very impressed and it was very cost effective. We will use this home again when we come back to the Phoenix area.

I loved this home! And it really is a home, not just a house to stay in on vacation. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and even with as large as it is, it was very cozy. From the waterfall and fireplace in the front yard to the beautiful back yard with the hot tub, everything about this place was amazing. I'd go back to Arizona just to stay there. AMAZING!

Hi, We Just want to introduce ourselves to you. I am a 3rd generation native Phoenician and my wife is from Naperville, Illinois. We have been in the hospitality industry for many years and always wanted to have our own bed & breakfast. Well, in 2003 we started our first vacation rental property in the amazing wooded area of the Pinetop Country Club, known as KOBEY'S COZY CABIN located in the White Mountains of Pinetop, Arizona. That was the next best thing to owning a Bed & Breakfast. Since then, we built a 4000 square foot oasis in the desert which we are very proud of. Our new Desert Oasis getaway is located in the beautiful Sonoran Desert of Tramonto awaiting your arrival! This property will comfortably sleep 18 in beds, it really is a one-of-a-kind! Dixie is a wonderful interior decorator and has done a great job making our home warm and friendly with a touch of what she calls "traditional desert elegance". We have tried to think of everything we would want at our fingertips when we go on vacation. If there is something you would like for next time, please let us know and we will do our best. Please take a look at the pictures and the virtual tour. Also. feel free to use us as your private concierge!
I hope you'll join us! Guy & Dixie Kobey
