Thank you for organising our family stay at such short notice. We all had a wonderful time, the house was wonderful and even my not so agile 79 year old mother managed the ascent to the front door. Fabulous decor, spectacular views and I slept like a log in the king size bed. Thanks once again, Frances Reeve, Margaret River, Western Australia |

We had the pleasure recently of a weekend spent in this lovely home which we found spacious, stylish and comfortable. The home being stocked with eco-friendly and organic items throughout shows real care and thoughtfulness for both guests and environment. And truly, truly, million-dollar views! |

Kainui Heights was a wonderful place to stay during our visit to Wellington. It was the perfect location for exploring Wellington and surrounding areas. The home itself was quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped and had beautiful views of the bay and beyond. We would recommend a stay in Kainui Heights to anyone.

Our stay at Kainui Heights was fantastic, the owners should feel proud, the thought that has gone into the property is beyond expectation. Very comfortable, well worth the visit. Thanks again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. We particularly liked the great views of the mountains and water from the sunny verandas off the master bedroom and living room. We also enjoyed the easy access to restaurants a few blocks away and the ability to access hiking trails up to Mount Victoria and to the Wellington CBD. Some of the Lord of the Rings filming locations are within a ten minute walk.

Kainui Heights is a wonderful base for a short or long visit to Wellington, whether for business or for pleasure. It has light, spacious, sunny rooms and a fully equipped modern kitchen. The owners are obviously foodies, because the pantry is wonderfully stocked with all the basics for cooking at home. But if you don't feel like cooking, the house is so close to Hataitai Village that we could walk down there in minutes have dinner at the great Thai restaurant or to catch a bus into the city. On the bus it took me less than ten minutes into the middle of Courtney Place. But above all else, what I liked best about Kainui Heights was the effort that the owners have gone to in order to make sustainable choices for the home. I loved the super-soft and eco-friendly organic bamboo bedding and towels and the wonderfully eclectic, vintage furnishings. It was great knowing that I was staying in a home that had been furnished with thought for our planet as well as for the comfort of their guests. |

I stayed at Kainui Heights this week and it is BEAUTIFUL! The view from the deck is incredible. The house was equipped for our every need. I slept like a rock; the bed was great. It’s super-easy to catch the bus right into downtown. I wish we were there for a month! Shoot, I wish I were moving in.
