We absolutely loved this location and unit. Very spacious for two, located in historic building in historic neighborhood, close to number of restaurants, shops and the Eastern Market, which turned out to be lot bigger on the weekends. We spent two weeks here and loved every day.

| We found the condo very clean, very nicely furnished and spacious enough for our family of four. The location was absolutely amazing as the historic neighborhood is very close to all the sights but also is and feels very safe. We really enjoyed staying here and would higly recommend this place to everyone. |

| What a wonderful place to stay. Clean, safe & best accommodations we used in very long time. Plenty of space for everyone. It was very nice to be able to come back there at the end of a long site-seeing day in DC must recommend to those with families. Owners are very friendly and full of tips and ideas of what to do and see. |

| We spend almost 4 days here with our family and we loved it, shopping at Eastern Market was amazing the apartment was very spacious, clean and just overall very convenient. We will definitely come back next season .Thanks for the bottle of red wine you left for me. |

My husband and I took our 12 year old daughter for winter break to DC and we loved staying at this place. The unit was very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable and warm (very important as it was snowing outside and we enjoyed getting home that much more).
The unit was very close to all the sights and we walked and walked all over the city. There are tons of restaurants to try out and Good Eats Burger place was our favorite. We visited this flea market which was pretty cool and ended up buying some photos to take home with us as souvenirs.
If you walk out of the front door and walk to the end of the street, you will see the Capitol building which is about five minutes away and being able to walk to everything was just what we were looking for (we don’t do that down in Charlotte a lot)
The area was very nice and the people we met were always very helpful.
We have really enjoyed this place and it has exceeded our expectation. This was the first time renting through VRBO and we definitely got our money worth and we had once in a lifetime vacation with our daughter

I love staying in your little place! I travel all over the country; all
over the world, actually, and I always try to stay in apartments
rather than hotels. I love the way you decorated the place, and I really enjoyed the bottle of red wine you left for me. Thanks for doing that! How sweet of you to open up
your beautiful home to visitors. I will definitely have to come back, and hopefully bring
my girlfriend with me next time. |

| We stayed at this lovely apartment with our 3 small dogs. The apartment was well appointed, comfortable, and conveniently located. We had a wonderful time, and our dogs LOVED the small back yard (which they certainly don't have back home in New York City). Highly recommended. |

| Instead of crowding our small apartment with out-of-town in-laws, we used this condo as our guesthouse and our in-laws absolutely loved it. The place is so nice and the location so convenient to everything the Hill has to offer (and we know, because we live here), that we ended up inviting ourselves to "their" house more often than coming to our house! Thank you so much for offering this wonderful solution to the perennial problem of where to house guests. We will never do it any other way. |

We had the most amazing time staying at this condo. Everything was perfect. We ate outside for all our meals at Pennsylvania Ave and 8th St.
We shopped at Eastern Market, what an experience.
The beds were very comfortable. The owner was so kind and helpful and we loved the bottle of wine as gift for our arrival. We will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend this place, close to all the sights, very upscale and comfortable. |

| My husband and I stayed at this lovely rowhouse Election Week of 08. As others have noted in this guestbook, the location is absolutely perfect for exploring the traditional sights of DC. We walked a different route back and forth to the Metro each day so as to enjoy the architecture of the varied rowhouses. Our "apartment" was stocked with everything we needed including laundry soap, dryer towels, paper towels, plenty of fluffy bath towels, etc. We didn't have to pick up a thing at the store to make us comfortable. We especially appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us on the kitchen table after a long day of travel! Furthermore, the cushy comforter on the bed and the large, beautifully tiled shower were welcome amenities after days of sight-seeing. Two suggestions for future visitors: Don't miss the FDR monument. And one day take the Metro to Dupont Circle around 4:45, have a seat at an outdoor cafe with a glass of wine and an appetizer and enjoy watching the hordes of workers stream out of the Metro on their way home! Very relaxing. |

My husband and I spent one week here with our two teenage boys and we loved it. The location is great as the apartment is very close to Eastern Market and all the shops and restaurants. Walking to the Mall was great and we ended up walking everywhere. We walked to the Capitol, the Washington Monument and the Old Post Office (which came highly recommended by Jarek and now we understand why).
The apartment was very spacious, clean and just overall very convenient. Highly recommend to everyone traveling with kids.

| We spent five nights in this townhouse and really enjoyed the property and the neighborhood. We walked to Union Station or Eastern Market to catch the metro every day. Beautiful old neighborhood, felt very safe while there and we enjoyed the local flavor. Nice place to come home to after long days of sight-seeing! Really appreciate Jarek's assistance and recommendations for our stay. Great place!! |

| We stayed six nights here in 10/08 and were very satisfied. This condo is in a nice neighborhood about a 15 minute walk from the Capitol and restaurants on Pennsylvania Avenue. This is probably on of the better options when you're budget conscious. |
