Our family of thirteen spent a full week at this home over new years 2009-2010. We had a great time and found that this house met our needs in every way. The pictures on the website don't do justice to the home - it's beautiful, inside and out.
The interior is very spacious, as well as beautifully furnished and decorated. There are six nicely finished bedrooms, all of which are away from the main living area (which is particularly helpful if guests have children). One king-sized bed had a very uncomfortable mattress, but we understand that the owners are making that necessary change. In addition to a pool table in the downstairs family room, there was a ping pong table set up in the garage and we played many competitive matches there. There were plenty of towels available, including beach towels.
The exterior is beautiful, with an upper deck overlooking the pool and a mountainous view, and a lower patio at poolside, equipped with a table and lounge chairs. There are palm trees to enjoy, as well as many fruit trees in the lower part of the yard; we enjoyed picking and eating oranges from those trees every morning. We enjoyed many hours outside; swimming in the pool was a highlight of the week.
The location in Escondido was a bit removed from San Diego (approximately 30 minutes away) but we didn't find it problematic at all - and the city of Espondido is lovely, and has many great restaurants and shopping venues.
The owners were accommodating and friendly; they made us feel very much at home, and even provided us with ideas as to where good shopping and eating-out locations were. They have taken immaculate care of this home and it was meticulously clean upon our arrival.
As a family, we would highly recommend this accommodation...in fact, I hope that someday we will be able to visit again.

| 12 of us East-Coasters stayed here for a week in September, '09. Since then everyone has been begging me for a repeat trip. The house is in great shape and was PERFECT for cooking/grilling, entertaining and just hanging out and relaxing. The pool was refreshing in the day and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing at night. The views outside are beautiful and inside the house has everything you need and more. We would stay there again without hesitation. |

| the house worked great for our family reunion of 14 people. plenty of space, a fun pool for the kids, ping pong, and billiards. nice deck for meals. stores are close by. the minor problems (a dirty fridge and non working tv) were attended to promptly by the owner. nice modern washer and dryer were a big plus. |

| We were a group of 16 people who stayed at the house for a weekend in September. We all had a great time and the kids were always busy. The house is in great shape and offers a lot of things to do. |

| Went to a party at this house, and oh my it is so beautiful! absoulutely amazing! great view of san diego, nice quiet neighborhood. Great place to hang out and plenty of things to keep every guest occupied. We had the grill goin on the deck, swimmers in the pool, and the football game on the big screen tv and people playing billiards. very beautiful property and very spacious! |
