| Thank you Mike & Judy for a quiet warm place to relax. We had a good time and so did the dogs. The scones, soup and carrot cake were fantastic! We will be back. |

| My Wife and kids spent a fantastic weekend in the awesome cabin. We brought our dog and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The cabin was very cool with its rustic setting and decor. We loved it. It is such a relaxing place. We also loved the tour we were given of the main Log home that Mike and Judy own. They were so gracious and invited us in to see their beautiful home and incredible view. We totally loved it. We plan to visit again for sure! Thanks for everything! |

| My wife and I, along with our two children (12 and 9), just spent a week in the cabin, and the only negative was that we had to leave. The cabin, the setting, Mike and Judy...everything about it was fantastic. We spent at least part of most days in the lagoon and on the beach collecting our dinner (clams, crabs, and oysters), then to the raspberry patch for a snack. We also dragged ourselves away a few times to explore the island and locale, including the southern bits of Olympic N.P. The cabin itself is very comfortable, cheerfully and thoughtfully appointed, and very well maintained. Mike and Judy couldn't have been better hosts, doing their very best to spoil us. We are already trying to figure out how and when we can make a return visit. |

Peggy and I spent 7 days at the cabin. It was a wonderful time. For less than the price of a decent motel you get the little vacation cabin that you always fantasized about. Actually this is a better deal than your own vacation cabin. You only pay for it the days that you use it.
The beach in front on the cabin yielded oysters that are perfect for the barby. The views of Pickering Passage are spectacular.
The boat launch is about 3 miles away and you can launch/retrieve at low tide.
Mike and Judy are great hosts and they do not invade your privacy. Judy's raspberry jam and strawberry shortcake with whipped cream were wonderful--also the fresh eggs.
Absolutely everything was provided, as promised--it was a quaint and cute country cabin.

This is a truly wonderful property. The cabin is laid out so efficiently and is so roomy, it's easy to forget it's one bedroom. It is not only equipped with everything you might need, it's decorated with all kinds of cool vintage 'stuff', which gives it a personality all its own - far different from other impersonal rentals. The property is PERFECT if you're looking for some peace & quiet - it's an oasis of sky and water on heavily forested Harstene Island - but it's also not far from some interesting places to go & see so you needn't feel like you're too far from civilization. Judy and Mike treated us like royalty and made us feel as if we'd been specially invited. We are definitely coming back. Go here, and take your dog! Our dogs had the time of their lives. I could go on...but in brief, it's just a wonderful place.

| I've known Mike & Judy for over 30 yrs. and was actually the first of their friends from Yuma to venture onto this wonderful property when they were building and still had a primitive, dirt road. It is truly a haven of serenity and peace. Mike & Judy are amazing hosts! |

Judy is such a wonderful host and I will never forget how heavenly her Morning Glory Muffins tasted!! My husband and I do alot of getaway's and this cabin by far is THE BEST! If you want to encounter a beautiful scenic, relaxing, memorable couple of days this is the place! Trust me, you will not want to leave! Thanks Mike and Judy you guys have truly created a wonderful cabin in the woods. My youngest still talks about Tag so please tell him we said "hello" |

| We like to leave our island for the exploration of other islands in Puget Sound, and we are so happy we found this little gem (and Mike and Judy) on Harstine Island. New Year's Eve at the Harstine Island Comm. Center was the friendliest gathering we could have attended! I highly recommend this cabin for a romantic getaway. Very cozy...Wonderful gardens, and great seafood right from the beach! |

| We did enjoy our time in this beautiful setting - quiet and peaceful. The cabin is so snug, a wonderful place to sit and read with glances across the water. The bed is so comfortable, big warm comforter - just what I'd envisioned. If you're lucky you'll get one of Judy's good meals, excellent cook. I'd recommend this cabin in the woods to anyone wanting to relax. |

| This cabin is so quiet and comfortable It's hard to imagine a more peaceful location. It is decorated in what I have to say is Judy's style and that means eclectic and comfortable. Judy and Mike are absolutely wonderful hosts. The views from this property are breathtaking and the birds, deer, and other creatures of the wild made my stay perfect. And Judy really knows how to cook! |

| What a great, little cabin. If you want to "get away from it all," this is your place. The owners have created a fantastic atmosphere, with wildflowers, wild life (nothing dangerous), and the most amazing use of antiques and old throwaways you've ever seen (like a greenhouse made of old windows or a garden surrounded by antique metal bed frames). This really is a great place to relax. Plus, the view from the porch at the main house is not only gorgeous, but incredibly peaceful. And you can't beat the hospitality. We've literally traveled the world, and this is one of our top places to stay. |

Probably the most peaceful and relaxing times I've ever spent have been the times spent at Mike and Judy's ideallic cabin in the woods on the sound. The Callaghan's are perfect hosts and this would be a great deal at twice the price. Tom Cooper |

| I am a writer and I look forward to every minute I can spend at the Harstine Island Cabin. Not only are the views breathtaking, but you will never have a better nights sleep. I enjoy sitting out on the decks, overlooking the water. I have had alot of inspiration writing my poems while I am at the cabin. |

We have stayed in this lovely Harstine Island cabin many times over the past 15 years. Each time has been more wonderful than the previous time. You won't find another area or another cabin to equal it. The Callaghans are gracious "hosts" and thrive on nature and natural surroundings. They give more than they ever receive. And when you leave their island hideaway, you will have new friends. I assure you you will go back again and again...as we do. So make your reservations and then start getting excited. |
