In sum, your house was wonderful and worked out perfectly for our group. While we all certainly could have doubled up, everyone enjoyed having their own space. Not surprisingly, we spent the bulk of our time either in the basement or out on the patio.
Michael, the caddie that you recommended, was simply excellent. Our group was generally not burning up #2 when we played it (although, in fairness, we didn't struggle horribly either), but Michael seemed to enjoy our good-natured group. Michael was an excellent recommendation on your part, and I let him know that when the round was over.
As for #2, we thought it was brilliant. I had fallen into a bit of a funk and wasn't playing especially well during the days before, and thus had mixed emotions about #2. However, once we teed off, what a fabulous experience it was. Absolutely no regrets, and I think the rest of my group felt the same way. One of my buddies shot 1-over on the front (so I will never hear the end of that), although the pendulum swung and he played far worse than normal on the back. So goes golf.
We also very much enjoyed #4 - as we were told and expected, a beautiful course. We also played #3, although we weren't especially sharp in doing so.
We generally had a great time in the Village - had some nice meals, saw some live music, and pretty much took over the karaoke experience at Doogan's on Thursday night.
Our trip was a rousing success. Thanks very much for your the use of your house.

Hi Scott, Thanks, the weekend went great. Had a great time playing #8. Shot 87 which was OK since I haven’t golfed much the past 2 years. Luckily I dropped one in from about 70 feet on 18, otherwise flirting with 90. Fantastic course, best I’ve played. The weather cooperated, we only got some rain at night. Had some good meals at Ironwood and Magnolia Inn. The house was great, we loved the porch and it was easy to relax there. Loved the golf deco and my parents commented how it was a nice feel. No comments really, we were happy with everything. Thanks, Mark

To Scott, Our group had a great time during our trip to Pinehurst and especially enjoyed your Three Green Retreat. It was really nice and a great central location to the many sites to see especially in the village of Pinehurst (about 2 minutes away, if you hit the stop light wrong). First of all, the house was great. Nice layout, plenty of room and in good condition. Great porch/balcony off the back that is screened-in, with great views three holes on Course #3 (#15, #16, and #17) I believe it was. No problems. The guest guides were very helpful, in terms of taking care of trash, TV channels, dining suggestions, internet connections and so forth. Golf, groceries, dining and shopping are all within 5 - 10 minutes of the house. In terms of dining, we tried Vito's over in Southern Pines (which I believe was on your recommended listing) and it was great. Also, we took you up on the suggestion of the Pine Crest Inn. Very nice and quaint. Must go to the bar first then dinner. Very good meal with lots of character. We also enjoyed the Ryder Cup Lounge in the Carolina Hotel. Neat, neat hotel property with great old photos of its history. We also took in a little of the Pinehurst Clubhouse, some shopping in the Pro Shop, as well as the Donald Ross Grill and the veranda overlooking the 18th green on #2. Great, great way to spend an hour or two.
Otherwise, had a great time. Thanks for the accommodations. You have a very nice place down there. Enjoy it! Ken Feaster St. Louis, MO

Hi Scott, The house was very nice and worked out great for our group. I think we will be back next year. The weather was a little warm, but we didn't really get caught in any rain. We all had a great time and the house worked out very well. Thanks and talk to you next year! Jim

| Perfect! Superb Location, Tons of room, Beautifully Decorated, Everything you need including Pool Room and Bar - Normally when you rent a house on holiday you get a sanitised, renter proof bare minimum. This house is like a home from home, luxurious, beautifully maintained, very comfortable and really good value. Close enough to the center of Pinehurst to walk - Plenty of room and the Owner Scott is a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be recommending this home to any of my friends and family who are visiting Pinehurst again in the future. Thanks for making our trip truly memorable. |

| One couldn't ask for a better location, either for a quiet retreat or a few rounds of golf. The house has everything you could ask for and more. Beautiful setting, comfortable surroundings, and just about every grown up toy one could want! |
