Scott and I vacationed in Puerto Vallarta and stayed at El Taller. We awoke each morning to the sounds and sites of the original Old Town below us and Banderas Bay. On our first morning we took a short walk down a cobble-stoned street greeting our neighbors with "Buenos Dias" and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Mama Rosa’s.

What amazed us is the apartment is totally open to the sites of the city and sea, and yet safe high above the street. New, charming, clean and beautifully decorated, El Taller is located in the center of Old Town. Our neighbors were friendly and it was an easy walk to downtown and the Malecon on the edge of the bay. We loved the apartment’s airiness and spaciousness. Scott, an artist, sketched views of the city and Banderas Bay from the living room and patio. When we weren’t’ eating at local restaurants, we enjoyed preparing lunches and snacks in the large fully equipped kitchen A little neighborhood tienda provided us cold beer. In the afternoons we sat outside our door chatting with our friendly Mexican neighbors. A highlight of our stay was dancing to live music with the locals on Sunday evening in the El Jardin Principal.
El Taller met all our expectations; a wonderful romantic get-away and we highly recommend it!!
