| Our family travelled to NYC for five days at the end of October for the NYC marathon. We were delighted with our apartment and, better still, Alison immediately addressed by e-mail any questions/concerns we had, and made us feel very much at home. The location is ideal . . . close to Central Park, public transit and many shops and restaurants -- our favourites: Milano Market, the Hungarian Pastry Shop and Alouette French Restaurant, all within a short walk. We, of course, had to experience breakfast at Tom's Restaurant of Seinfeld fame, located just around the corner on Broadway. The magnificent cathedral, St. John the Divine, located at the end of the street on Amsterdam, holds wonderful organ recitals that are free to the public every Sunday afternoon. The best thing about VRBO is being able to stay in a home-like environment as opposed to a hotel, having the option of preparing our own meals if desired, and feeling more like a resident than a tourist. We would happily return to this apartment in a heartbeat. |

| 3 friends and I stayed at the apt the first of October and we loved it. The apt was very nice. The neighborhood is wonderful. We felt very safe. We could not get over how nice and helpful everyone was. New York is so different from what we thought it would be. We can not wait to return for another visit. We caught a Broadway play and loved it. The subway is very close to the apt and easy to figure out. Wehad reservations to stay at the Marriott in Times Square but changed our mind and decided to rent an apt. It gave us a better feel for New York and we ate at a lot of places that the locals eat at instead of the tourist spots. It is definitely the way to go. The apt is more economical also. Alison is very gracious and a pleasure to deal with. |

Great apartment, great building, and a great location. Close to Morningside Park, with a little pocket park right next door, which our grandson loved. Tons of restaurants and every service you could imagine in the short walk to the subway, and from the subway, the City! Loved the Westside Market and Deluxe. The apartment was well-furnished and roomy, and the building felt safe. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat! Eva & David Yount, Indianapolis |

We want to first say what a fantastic time we had in NYC. From the beginning, Alison was so helpful in giving us ALL the information needed so that we could feel comfortable about renting an apartment sight unseen from the internet.
The apartment was much bigger than we thought and just so comfortable and homey. It was spotless and beautiful. We loved the apartment. The area was incredible, so many things going on, so many wonderful restaurants and shops. We were amazed that every place delivers including cleaners and grocery stores.
We bought the discount coupons fromAlison and saw three Broadway shows, orchestra seats for 50% discount. Amazing!
We will be back!!!! |

| This apartment was in a great location near Columbia University. Great food, bagels, convenience store, Italian market, and our favorite, Toms Restaurant right around the corner. The master bed was very comfortable! It accommodated our family of four nicely. |

| We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was the families first trip to New York and we were slightly apprensive about getting around but the location was perfect with the main shopping and sights within walking distance (if you like walking) or the subway is a couple of minutes away.Just around the corner are several lovely diners (We ate in most of them) and they were great value for feeding a family of 5.Between the diners are several shops for all the groceries you will need.We hope to visit again. Thanks Alison |

I recently rented this apartment for two weeks, for a much needed NYC fix. As a former New Yorker, area was very important to me, this property is in an excellent neighborhood, nice building, surrounded by among the very best neighborhoods, grocery stores and restaurant. Most important her you emersed in the New York lifestyle, far from the tourists, but convenient to everything. The 1/3 Subway line was three blocks, extremely convenient, the cross town bus took you accross the park to Museum Mile, you could be downtown in 15 minutes on the express, very convenient. The Upper West Side is a very desireable neighborhodd, full of Academics, bookstores, Saint John the Dives is a breathtaking landmark, lot's of park (Morningside, and Riverside) great littel coffe shops, filled with Professor's and students alike. If you really want to experience the life of a New Yorker this is the place to do it. The Apartment is well appointed, big kitchen with great big dining room, rare for NY, the 2 bedrooms , again rare for this price were well appointed, and proved convenient, as my children visited during my stay. Highly recommend, and will myself be returning |

We recently stayed at this apartment and had a great time. The apartment was lovely and the kitchen/dining was exceptionally large for a New York apartment. The beds were extremely comfortable aswas the towels and sheets. The owner was easy to deal with and just a great lady. Now on to the shopping--wow, so much shopping and so many rstaurants in the area, it was unbelievable. All within walking distance. Time Square was only a short cab ride or us ride (or subway ride) from the apartment. We even walked to Lincoln Center twice. The area the apt is in is safe and always people around. We also took advantage of the broadway discount codes and saved over $400 on orchestra seats. All in all, we will be back and we will definitely recommend this apartment to our friends who are traveling to NYC. Anyone staying here will love it! |

| Thanks so much for having such a wonderful apartment. We enjoyed ourselves, the area was terrific and the beds were very comfortable. The menus and the inside info about the area was so very helpful. We bought the discount coupons and we saw 4 shows and saved hundreds of dollars. It was my mother-in-laws first trip to the States and she couldn't believe how great the place was, so safe, clean and stylish. We are looking into next Spring, hope you have dates for us. |
