I stayed at this delightful condo a few months ago. At the time, my computer refused to post a response. This time, I am late but successful.
Upon entry, I was met with the scent of a fresh and clean dwelling. Everything in the condo was shiny and new. I was surprised at the unexpected touches and provisions that made it seem as if the condo was welcoming me. For example, the owners thoughtfully stocked a few grocery items for guests to use if they wished to avoid leaving the condo the first night--including coffee for the next morning! Disposable cups, plates, napkins, foil, plastic wrap, tissue paper and such were on hand.
The Spanish influenced decor intertwined with a gracious southern accent created an inviting, enchanting atmosphere; in addition, the owners made me feel welcome, pampered, and confident that I could depend on them if needed.
The wicker/rattan living room furniture was very comfortable and so old-worldly beautiful, as were several other pieces of furniture in the condo.
The kitchen and dining areas were heavenly. Every kitchen appliance, sparkling new, I could imagine was available, including a toaster oven, a blender, a coffee brewer, a microwave, a can opener, a dishwasher, full range, and new refrigerator. The solid granite counter tops were the finishing touch. The kitchen was so well arranged that I made sketches of the layout since I am considering remodeling my kitchen. Everything one could ask for in a kitchen to cook and dine was provided, from wine glasses to shiny pots and pans.
The location was an end unit bordering a natural wooded area, providing a quiet, secluded feeling, while still having neighboring guests nearby. I stayed several days and nights alone and felt secure leaving and returning to the condo, even after nightfall. The lighted walkway to the front door was helpful and welcoming.
The bed slept well--and I am hard to please as far as mattresses go. If I had to complain about something, it would be the bathroom sinks. The bright, Spanish-tile design of the sink basin caused me to spend extra time at the sinks admiring the patterns. Moreover, they were settled into old and beautiful ornate cabinets. They were unusual, appealing, and enhanced the decor. The wall artworks were captivating. Several paintings were originals, showing scenes of the historic downtown.
The interior of this villa is not the same boring décor often found in rental units. Obviously, much thought and skill in interior design, was employed to create the atmosphere of this unexpectedly alluring villa.
I enjoyed my stay and did not want to leave! ….and since I am nearing the 3000 word limit, that is all I have to say about that.
Enjoy life. Take breaks. Be well.
