Our leadership group just spent from the 3rd to the 10th of January, 2009 at this vacation home and had a spectacular time and got a great deal accomplished for our team.
The Griffith's were great! They made sure we had easles, markers, sticky notes and other items for a sucessful brainstorming session.
The house was awesome and accomodated all of our needs exceptionally well.
After we worked, we played hard on the slopes which were very quick and easy to get to because the home is close enough to jump on the freeway instead of fighting the local traffic as we had to in the past when we stayed in Tahoe Donner. Within 15-20 minutes we were at any resort we wanted to visit.
Although the house seems way out in the sticks it is very close to town for shopping and dining out.
The views are incredible from every room (including the showers!)and we were all sad to leave.
We plan to have our mid-year leadership retreat here in June, and would highly recommend the property and The Griffiths.

We stayed at The Griffith's vacation property during July for a family reunion.
The pictures on your website don't even begin to describe how wonderful the property is!
The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The rooms are spacious, so we had many places we could all group together and there are several places where you can sneak off by yourself and read or just relax.
The grounds offer several stone patios; some in the sun and some amidst the trees - all with spectacular views.
Boating on Boca Reservoir is just 2 miles away, where everyone enjoyed kayaking, boating and swimming - they even had a full-moon kayaking event planned which was great fun!
Getting to town was quick and easy for grocery and gift shopping as was getting to Reno for Casino shows.
The Griffith's were so helpful and thoughtful and helped us with some personal needs that arose while we were there - that was truly unusual for someon who does vacation rental to be so kind and caring.
We plan to go back every July for our reunions.

I have stayed in this vacation home both in the winter to ski and snowboard and in the summer for golf, fishing, boating and just to catch up with old college buddies. This is a fabulous piece of property and is just as the owner describes it - AND ACTUALLY BETTER!
We were in a private secluded gated community, yet we were minutes from town, all the slopes and golfing - not to mention a quick hop on the freway got us a 20 minute trip to Reno for Casino's and shopping.
It was so peaceful and quiet - we all slept like babies!
There is so much wildlife there in both seasons; the herd of deer that crosses the property in the morning and evening was amazing to see and there are so many types of snow rabbits - we never lacked for animal entertainment.
The Griffith's were easy and wonderful to work with - and during the worst of snow storms Mr. Griffiths was out there plowing with every 4" accumulation of snow so we could get out and get where we wanted to go.
The views are spectacular in any season, but it is especially cool in the winter to sit in the hot tub and see the Alpen Glow on the mountains. In The sumer the deck is a great gathering spot and it is pretty spectacular to be sitting in 80 degree weather and gaze across at the snow covered mountains!
Our group intends to come back twice a year from now on!
