Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful house, the pictures you posted do not do it justice.
The gourmet kitchen was top notch. Cooking for a dozen people was easy due to all of the burners and ovens. I just remodeled my kitchen, and after using yours, I may have to remodel it again.
Hopefully, we will be able to rent your home again in the Summer. I have already received requests to organize a trip in the Summer.

WOW! The pictures and VRBO description did not match the feeling I got when I walked in the front door. OMG!
Spacious Great Room- as if you are still outside.
Cozy- as large as it is, the "cabin" still had a cozy atmosphere- around the fireplaces, dinning room, bedrooms.
Pampered- Thermadore stove, push button microwave, and the master bedroom showers! I stayed in the first floor master bedroom - I loved the remote control fireplace. Right off of I80 and close to the grocery store.
And, we even managed to carve out a "sled run" on the golf course. The outside fireplace was great to warm up without having to go back inside the house.

Pinewood Lodge is a truly luxurious, brand new home! This gigantic house comfortably accommodates up to 12 people. Our family stayed there over MLK weekend with another family, and we each had our own set of beautifully appointed rooms - one family spread out upstairs and the other downstairs! There was still room for more!
We walked into the huge kitchen/great room area and just said "wow!" There is ample seating at both tables and barstools, plus a fireplace that faces one way to a large family room and the other to a large eating area/dining room. All appointments are beautiful and state-of-the-art including espresso machine and pot-filler spigot over the stove in the kitchen. There's a separate game room upstairs complete with small pool table that flips over to an air hockey table. There's also another family room downstairs where one of the dad's got some weekend work done. You'll find TV's in every room, including the two master bathrooms!
The setting at Old Greenwood is truly peaceful and beautiful. The snow-covered golf course and common areas provide plenty of snowball-fight and snowman-making material for the kids! I myself enjoyed long walks around the property while the rest of the family skied at Northstar. Taking the shuttle back and forth to Northstar relieved them from the hassle of parking at Northstar - it was door-to-door service!
We can't wait to rent this property again - it was such a treat to stay there! |
