We very much enjoyed staying at this lovely retreat. The house was very clean, peaceful and the grounds were beautiful. A perfect get away from the hot summer in AZ. Thank you for everything, Dennis & Fonda!

Dear Dennis and Fonda,
We fell in love with your beautiful home and picturebook setting in Angwin and greatly enjoyed our visit while we were in the area for our niece's wedding. The house and grounds were spotless, the fresh flowers all over the house were such a perfect touch, the basket of fruit and treats were an unexpected surprise, the ease of e-mailing with you regarding arrangements made our job so simple and your friendliness and helpfulness as hosts were unsurpassed. We can't thank you enough for our great, relaxing stay in the wine country.
Thanks again for all that you did to assure our total comfort and pleasure. We will happily return some day and will also tell others of your lovely resort home!

The Howell Mountain Retreat was ideal for our
vacation plans which included touring the Wine
Country and having a place where our San
Francisco & Napa relatives could visit us and stay in
comfort. We were just minutes away from dozens of
vineyards, the restaurants of Yountville and St.
Helena, and the shops and spas of Calistoga.
Despite the nearby attractions, we spent most of
our days at the house, eating family meals on the
deck or lounging by the pool. It was a most
comfortable home away from home; one we hope
to visit on our next Napa trip. |

| DENNIS,THANK YOU FOR THE WEEKEND.USUALLY THE PICTURES ARE BETTER THAN THE REAL THING,NOT SO HERE.WE COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR ANY NICER ACCOMODATIONS OR A WARMER WELCOME.I HESITATE TO TELL TOO MANY ABOUT OUR FIND.LOVED THE LOCATION..NO HWY 29 AND THE PRICE WAS SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN THE VALLEY FLOOR.WE WILL BE BACK. |

Hi Dennis,
We loved our stay at your retreat! It was spacious, well-decorated and very homey. The pool area was perfect to share our picnic lunch, and the sunroom and deck were very relaxing.
We will definitely be back. I can imagine cooking a large meal there for friends and doing some wine tasting during the day.

| Fabulous location in the Angwin hills overlooking the valley--close proximity to anything you need or want. The most gracious of hosts; Dennis, Fonda, and Heather were absolutely wonderful and responsive. Most highly recommended! |
