| We stayed at this absolutely beautiful house for a week in October and had my sister's wedding in the picturesque garden overlooking the ocean. It was a wonderful location to have this event and every detail about the garden was exquisite, especially all the new renovations. After the wedding, we were actually caught in a huge storm and the power went out but the back-up generator allowed us to continue enjoying our vacation. There were plenty of amenities in the house to keep us entertained; there were many late night arcade golf and poker games. The house is large enough for people to find their privacy but also gather together in the gorgeous and very homely living and dining room with breath-taking views. It was a truly marvelous week and all the visitors and guests were amazed by the place. On top of that, the owner was available at any time to answer our questions and ensure that our stay was smooth. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing vacation. |

Our family enjoyed a week at this property and the home far exceeded our expectations! We felt as if we were staying in a 5 star resort, minus the staff, but with the luxury of choosing all of our own guests. In our case these included our three married children, their spouses, great grandma and five grandchildren (2 months - 9 yrs.). Each family enjoyed a private master retreat with ample room for themselves and their children. This coupled with luxury towels, fine linens, individual coffee stations and stunning ocean views, and all with direct access to the breathtaking grounds.
Upstairs, we enjoyed the library/media room that was full of great books, vintage games and even Wii with rock band. For us older kids at heart, there was the poker table (complete with auto card shuffle) in the downstairs library suite.
The real draw was the main living area with the mile long sofa and sink down into chairs. Add: the 40 some foot wall of glass open to the deck; the floor to ceiling fire place open on three sides; the lovely dining room; and the breathtaking ocean view from every angle. It is a place for complete relaxation during the day and even more so at night with the low mood lighting and blazing fire.
The fully stocked kitchen was a chef's delight. We have three in the family, so it proved to be an active hub as well.
The web site pictures did not do justice to the grounds. Hedge lined paths meandering past benches, the gurgling fountain, flower beds and golf course green lawns were amazing. The gazebo overlooking the ocean would be the perfect spot for a sunset wedding.
This is the 10th home we have rented and the 4th through VRBO, and our kids have declared this their all time favorite. The only draw back was you never wanted to leave. Yet Pebble Beach, the 17 Mile drive, Carmel, horse back riding, whale watching all beckon. And at the end of the day we could not wait to get back to this amazing Pebble Beach home.
