| My friend and I stayed at Terri & Michaels cozy home overlooking lake Whatcom. We were there to enjoy the fall colors which were abundant and celebrate my friends birthday. The house is comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities that made our stay extremely enjoyable. We would recommend the house and the great hospitality of the owners to our family and friends. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning again some day. |

My then-fiancee and now wife rented the lakehouse
for the week leading up to our wedding in
Bellingham, and it was the perfect retreat from the
hubbub. So nice, in fact, that we cut into the
honeymoon and stayed an extra two nights.
Everything was very clean, very well-cared for and
beautiful, and the private lake access was great.
The owners are very responsive. For example, when
a busy groom lost the key, they had a new one
waiting for him--a lifesaver. |

We were in Bellingham for our sons graduation
from WWU. This cabin was an incredible sanctuary
from the busyness prior to arrival as well as the
busyness of all going on in Bellingham. Sitting in
the awesome leather chairs watching the lake, the
sky, the deer was so relaxing. It felt so welcoming
and Michael and Terri so very informative. We
found the kitchen to have everything we could have
wanted, very well equipped. I would love to return
and be filled up once again with the feeling of calm
and serenity I felt staying at this Lake Whatcom
get-a-way!!! Thank you so much!! |

| We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Whatcom cottage. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting in the big leather chairs with our feet up on the ottomans and watching life go by on the lake, reading or watching the flat screen TV. Hope we can stay again sometime. |

| The view from this property is magnificent and the owners who lived within sight were so friendly and available for any questions or needs. I found myself wishing more than once that I had brought binoculars to get a closer look rowers on the lake or the bald eagles soaring overhead! Directly across the street from the house is access to a sandy, private beach exclusive to this property with its fire pits and picnic table and BBQ for festivities right on the lake. Because I was with my elderly mother who doesn't tolerate cold, I appreciaed the easy and rapid heating with the touch of the thermostat. We felt confident turning the heat OFF in the daytime, knowing it would re-heat in moments when we got home. Bring wood, if you prefer to use the wood stove in the house. I also appreciated the well-appointed kitchen with its spices, paper towels, coffee filters, and every type of cooking utensil you could need as I had a BBQ dinner for family on the deck. There is a great flat screen TV for when you get "sick" of staring at the lovely view! We absolutely loved our time here--thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us! |

| What a delightful home to relax and take in the view. Well appointed and tastefully decorated. Waking up in the morning to such an amazing view was fantastic and the owners were very accommodating. Thank you Michael and Terri for making our New Year's Eve and my birthday so special by letting us stay in your home. |

A fantastic guys' weekend retreat location.
Everything was clean but not too pristine to use.
The location was ideal for feeling away from it all
and yet only about 10 minutes from Boundary Bay
Brewery & Bistro (that's a HUGE plus!). The owners
were very accommodating and easy to work with. I
highly recommend this lakefront rental and will use
it again in the near future. Definitely worth the
money. |
