| We've just returned from a wonderful weekend at the "Crazy Moose"! The owners have spared no expense in making this cabin charming, comfortable and well-equipped. The first thing you smell when you enter the home is the sweet scent of the timbers (cedar?). Then you notice the home's decorations, which look like a team of Disney imagineers were told to take a "North Woods" theme and get to work! (The theme is carried out in so many details it will take you a while to find them all!) We have stayed in many rentals over the years and NEVER have I been in one where the owners have invested so much in providing for the needs and comfort of their guests, even down to providing travel size toiletry items in the bathrooms! The porches are equipped with several glider rockers and the mattresses on the beds are so soothingly comfortable you will not want to get up! The location of this house is also fantastic -- halfway between Boone and Grandfather Mountain. Unless you are put off by taxidermy (see prominently placed raccoon in owner's photos!), you will not find a nicer nor better equipped home to rent than the "Crazy Moose"! |

We had a wonderful time staying at the
Crazy Moose cabin!! The cabin is roomy,
comfortable, peaceful and equipped with
everything you could want or need - and
more. We loved all the deer and bear
furnishings. The cabin is well located
just 5 min from the new 2 mile Zip line
and only 20 min from Boone. We have
stayed at several VRBO listings and this
is one of the best. We hope to come
back again - soon.

| This cabin was awesome! It was big, cozy, comfortable and I felt like we were on a relaxing vacation, which is hard to do. It was close to everything and the owner gave lots of great suggestions. It was something I would do again on a regular basis, highly recommend it! |

We had such a great time staying at the cabin. The layout was perfect for all of us to stretch out and really relax. The weather was beautiful so we really enjoyed having the windows open. It is so close to everything around and not hard to find at all.
We would certainly come back up to NC and would no doubt rent this cabin again! |

Absolutely perfect vacation. Just too short!!! The cabin is well appointed, clean, new, comfortable and is in beautiful surroundings. We sat quietly on the deck, enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace and the game room. Used the grill several times, too!
The area is peaceful, quiet and more than we had hoped for. Both our children and their husbands came along for a couple of days, with all three toddler grandchildren. Thanks for the best vacation experience. Our children are hoping this will be an annual event! |

| Having stayed at many rental properties in the area, this cabin was by far the best. Extremely comfortable and cozy. The cabin is located on a ridge at an elevation of 3,800 feet, across from Grandfather Mountain. It is less than 5 minutes from Hawksnest Tubing Park. Less than half an hour from Linville Falls and a little over an hour from Asheville. With close access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock is 20 minutes away. Highly recommended. |
