| My girlfriend and I rented Larry and Judy’s place (Not the entire house, just the main part of the house with master bedroom, kitchen and living room) for a week in mid April. The experience was wonderful. The house is super private, clean, new and quiet. About a 100 yards away is the polo field. I brought my girlfriend there during an expedition match on a Friday evening. It was one of the coolest things I have done. You sit in these super comfy white leather couches while they serve you super yummy food and drinks. The horses are beautiful and the setting is very romantic. The town is super small and quiet. We were there in the off season, so it was not as busy as normal. The beach is beautiful. The water is warm and I had tons of fun playing in the waves. There were people surfing there but I would recommend taking the 2 min bus (10 pesos) ride south to Sayulita if you want to catch some waves. Sayulita was such a cool place. We surfed all day and enjoyed some live music at night. We also went to Chacala on our first trip. It takes about 30min, but it’s worth the trip. The water is super warm and calm. No surfing here just a nice romantic place. |
