This is an absolutely WONDERFUL place to stay! For a small apartment, it has all the amenities one would want and then some. We immediately felt at home from the minute we walked in. As far as a "bang for the buck" I would rate this a 12 on a 1 to 10 scale.

We echo each of the aforementioned praises of Dan and Gina's beautiful home. As soon as we walked in, we felt right at home-it set the stage for a relaxing vacation. We also loved the neighborhood, which was conveniently located to downtown yet tucked away for peace and quiet. The next time we're in Portland, we will definitely return!

A great vacation rental in a lovely neighborhood. Walkers and bicyclists will enjoy the proximity of the park, gourmet market and even a neighborhood pub a couple small blocks away. Dan is an architect and the apartment is well designed. The decor is stylish, the bed comfortable and the kitchen is well-appointed. No problems except we did not want to leave!

We just got back from visiting Oregon, and need to say how wonderful it was staying in this apartment in Portland! It was during a heat wave, and we ended up spending a lot of time just hanging out and relaxing in this air conditioned very comfortable apartment. Dan and Gina are very nice, and Gina even took us on a tour of the city and it's various neighborhoods. This was my first experience with VRBO, and I'm completely sold on it. I won't be staying in a hotel again anytime soon!

Dan and Gina were so helpful--Dan even gave us a mini tour of the city, helped us make a reservation at a great restaurant for a special anniversary, and showed us Multnomah Falls. The studio was cozy, romantic, and perfectly appointed. Restaurants and a grocery store were just steps away, and the nearby public transportation was convenient and made it easy to get anywhere in the city. Our week here flew by--we didn't want to leave! Thanks so much, Dan and Gina. This was one of the best vacations we've ever had.

First and foremost, Dan & Gina are the most welcoming and helpful people out there. This studio is the best vacation getaway I will have ever stayed at. Not only was the studio comfy & spacious, it had a great modern interior design to it. It was also in the absolute perfect location; right down the street from Willamette River & Park. You can catch public transportation one block down or two blocks down. We preferred to take the bicycle path along the Willamette River to get into downtown. From there, we would simply lock our bikes in a safe place and take public transportation around downtown. This vacation rental is the perfect getaway and a must to stay at.

This was a very homey place to spend three nights. Great location - walks by the river and close to City Center. We enjoyed everything including the patio. Nicely stocked and furnished. Thank you for your hospitality!

This apartment is comfortable, attractive, immaculate, and wonderfully located. We enjoyed walking by the river, and taking public transportation anywhere we wanted to explore. Dan and Gina were welcoming, and helpful. They even offered us their yearly pass to get into the Japanese Gardens free! This is a jewel of a place. We will return.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your studio. It was very much like a home away from home, had all the comforts we needed and you let us borrow your bikes! that was great. We had a great time and look forward to staying with you again.

This studio is beautiful, inside and out... and comfortable! It made the perfect home-base for our visit to Portland. We loved being able to go to the farmer's market and then bring the goods back to the studio to make a lovely local dinner. There was also a Zupan's grocery store down the street.
Dan and Gina are incredibly friendly and were always willing to help or offer advice. They even had bikes available for us which we rode through Willamette Park to downtown Portland. We would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely stay there again. |

Dan and Gina are a delight, and this is a beautiful place. It's in one of my favorite Portland neighborhoods -- quiet, yet great access to the city. Willamette Park is a short stroll away. It has a boat ramp, paved bike path, tennis, an off-leash dog park, and acres of lawn. Wonderful!

This studio apartment was as lovely as the pictures suggest with beautiful views of the mountains and all the amenities you could want. Two blocks away was a gourmet grocery store and Thai, Japanese, Pizza, and BBQ restaurants. The riverfront park must be especially nice in the warmer months with a bike path that goes all the way into the center of the city. Gina and Dan were so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the peaceful feeling of the studio and would stay there again next time we travel to Portland.
