We stayed in this apartment for two weeks. It was comfortable, had a balcony, was well supplied, was clean and efficient. There are many excellent restaurants in the Palermo neighborhood. The flat is also within walking distance to many parks, museums and city landmarks. Dario Mattiello who owns this sixth floor flat, is fluent in English, Spanish & Italian, provided us with everything we needed for our first visit to this city, including a taxi service. If you're going to Buenos Aires and need a comfortable place to stay, I would check this one out. |

I just got back on Monday from Buenos Aires from being away for a month. I was there for two weeks to study Spanish on my own and the other two weeks my friend/husband would join me to explore BA and Uruguay. So naturally, I wanted to rent an apartment.
Due to the fact that I was traveling alone, at least for the first part, that I had to take special precautions. So the idea of having over a $1000 in cash on me to pay an owner was just not my cup of tea, as ALOT of these rental places want you to do.
BAs has a rep of muggings - although I was fortunate to not have anything happen to me.
I had a few requirements that I was looking for: 1)Wifi - I have a business and need to contact my clients without conflict. 2)Balcony - My friend smokes. 3)Cleanliness - I can't sleep if I think there are creepy crawlies around. 4)Security - would be a bonus if available. 5)Reasonably Priced and a way I could pay without carrying all that cash.
Well, I read an article on "how to successfully rent an apartment in BAs" and one of the tips was to rent directly from the owner.
I went on a search and found Dario's VRBO apartments. It answered everything on my wish list and more.
Dario was the owner who promptly answered ALLLL my questions within an hour in detail. Very professional, friendly and accomodating. Had great pictures on the site that lived up the reality 110%.
There was a pool on the property. Although the Subte was close, I could walk to downtown to my school if I wanted to.
I could go into more detail if you wanted me to but you will not be disappointed.
BTW, he does take Paypal payments and you can Paypal it when you arrive - so the risk is limited. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of staying in the Palermo Soho Zen Suite for an extended stay in BsAs, and was extremely impressed with the professional service Dario provided. From the "meet and greet" on arrival, introduction to the neighborhood, guidance to local sites, travel advice to neighboring countries, as well as scheduling of return airport transportation, Dario provided attention and service clients would expect from luxury boutique hotels in NYC.
The Zen Suite is perfectly located in trendy Palermo Soho for visitors who want a true porteño experience, and from which they can easily explore other BsAs neighborhoods. The very secure property is new and modern with suite/building amenities that allow for a comfortable stay. Regular cleaning and linen service is provided, as well as a building laundry facility.
I look forward to visiting BsAs again and will definitely stay in one of Dario’s suites. The professional service and quality properties are excellent, and enable visitors to truly enjoy their visit. Thank you, Dario! |

We stayed here for a week in April and absolutely loved it. A nice, new, bright, clean apartment in a secure building and the location couldn't have been better or more convenient. Palermo Soho is a fantastic neighbourhood to stay in, with the best bars, restaurants and shopping in Buenos Aires. We only discovered the rooftop patio on our last day, unfortunately, but the view of the city is amazing from up there. Dario is a wonderful host and took the time to give us a rundown of the neighbourhood and the city when we arrived, information that was much appreciated and very useful. And, he arranged for a car to take us back to the airport when it was time to go, at a discount. Rent this apartment for your stay in BA - you will not be disappointed. |

| The apartment was perfecto!!! Brand new, clean, light and bright, stylish and very functional. Dario, the manager couldn't have been more helpful, and was available to answer any concern or question about the apartment, and was generous in sharing recommendations and information about everything in BA. Loved the neighorhood, minutes walk to the heart of Soho Palermo, and Hollywood Palermo, with excellent cafes, restaurants and shops. Thanks again Dario, I hope to come back. |

| We enjoyed our weekend stay at this apt. Dario was was very friendly and helpful in meeting us, explaining things and highlighting areas of interest. His organizing a taxi pickup to the airport for us at the end of our stay was mucho appreciated! The apt. was new, very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Having the security box for our passports etc. was of great comfort to us. The balcony with the table and chairs was an enjoyable place to relax and have (as we did), a vino tinto and a para llevar (takeout). We didn't make use of the pool but I'm sure others would enjoy it. Restaurants were plentiful in the neighbourhood. One memorable meal we had was at BoBo about a block and a half from the apt. The area around Plaza de Cortazar is a "happening" place. We went to the craft fair during the day but were also there during the evening for a drink. Supermercados (supermarkets) and llavaderos (laundromats) were only a few minutes away. Persicco is a high end ice cream parlour in the area. We went there 2x!. We also went to the Japanese Garden, the zoo and walked through several parks. BA is a very walkable city and so one can easily get to other tourist areas of the city. The D line subte (subway) is very close, extremely reasonably priced and takes one to other "touristy" neighbourhoods if walking or time is an issue. We had a memorable stay in BA and being in Palermo at this apt. is one of them. Thank you, Dario! |

Dario, thank you so much for your hospitality and help during my trip to BA. The apartment was everything you advertised and was clean, safe, well located and well equiped. One restaurant you may want to recommend to future guests is "Gardelito", right around the corner at Thames 1914.
I will recommend your apartments if anyone I know is visiting BA. Muchos Gracias y bueno suerte! |
