We loved Venice! It is such a fascinating city. I walked it from one end to the other and top to bottom. And what a treat to have the apartment for the week. It was so much more enjoyable than being in a hotel. My sister said it was like having wandered into a cottage in some fairy tale. We really enjoyed the terrace and seeing the green in all the backyards which is a little hard to find in the cities. I hope to go again someday.

We stayed for two weeks at this delightful accomodation. We walked the length and breadth of Venice and found Dorsoduro to be the best for access and convenience. Everything that you need is just minutes away. The apartments have everything that you need for short or long stays and are charming and comfortable. We would whole heartedly recommend this accomodation.

The charming second floor apartment with its rooftop patio was perfect! We enjoyed sitting on the roof with coffee or wine any time of day or night. The courtyard view was refreshing after a day of walking and water buses in Venice. The Dorsoduro location is excellent because it balances quiet and privacy with easy access to gondola, vaporetto, water taxi, shopping and restaurants. There are several very good restaurants right off nearby Campo San Barnaba. After walking every neighborhood in Venice, this was my favorite. I hope to return next year.

Our family has used these apartments 3 times over the past several years and have never been disappointed. The location is great, the apartments not fancyk but comfortable (good beds and bathroom) and have all you need to make simple meals. We love the location because it more neighborhoody when we're they we feel almost like we're Venetians.

We have rented various apartments in Venice. This will be the one we come back to. Two things are very important to us; one is that the apartment is in a good location and the other is that it is quiet. This apartment is in an ideal location, very easy to find from the Vaporetto and no bridges to cross (if you have a lot of luggage)! We were there during carnival, and although the city was very busy, the apt. was very quiet and peaceful. In addition, the housekeeper is very nice and helpful in case you need anything. The apartment itself is very comfortable, lots of hot water, and a pleasure in which to stay. Thank you very much!! |

We stayed in the third-floor apartment and enjoyed it very much. It has a rather steep staircase to the bedroom, which might be a problem for someone with arthritic knees, but we adapted to it quite readily. The apartment has a tiny but functional kitchen and a roof-level patio overlooking a garden. The bathroom appears to have been updated recently and was quite nice, although the shower is pretty tiny. The location was a short walk to the Accademia area (the site of one of the three bridges across the Grand Canal). We enjoyed the neighborhood and we just loved Venice. We highly recommend the apartment.
