| We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Rocchetta in Lerici for 7 days. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Since returning from our trip, the house gets talked about just as much as the towns we saw and the meals we ate. It was absolutely part of the experience. On many occasions we rushed home so we could watch the sunset from the balcony. They are that incredible! The town and the bay stretch out in front of you like a giant quilt. You feel like you are levitating over it all. Just a great house, great location ( near everything in Liguria ), beautiful landscaping and the property manager ( Megan of Bella Vita Italia ) was so nice and so helpful, and the info that she supplied took the guess work out of where to go or where to eat. We want to stay again and next time bring friends. |

| The perfect home away from home! Villa Rocchetta offers the most stunning views of the Bay of Poets...we ate in 3 out of 4 nights just to soak in the view!! Spacious, beautifully appointed, unique & comfortable....the villa was a wonderful place to spend our family vacation. Easy access to Lerici, Portovenere & the Cinque Terre made this an excellent location to base our stay on the Ligurian coast. Our travel consultant Megan McCaffrey (BellaVita Italia) was one of the best reasons to book the villa - her responsiveness, insight into the area and delightful excursions were well worth it! A highly recommended place to stay. |

Our stay in your wonderful villa was the favorite part of our trip to Italy. We arrived late and hungry to a surprise in the fridge of olives, rustic bread, fresh cherries, prosciutto and wine. We sat on the porch with candles, our feast and an awesome moonlit view of the harbor. What a way to begin our stay! It is a beautiful villa with breathtaking views and easy access to several villages. Very romantic -- our son proposed to his future wife while here! We loved every minute and plan to return.
