My family and friends spent our winter vacation in this very comfortable home. Little scary arriving at night in what was supposed to be a very wintry night, but fortunately didn't snow. The first morning waking up to a herd of Elk all around the house! Spent several nights around the fire playing games and watching DVD's. The house was warm and comfortable and Rita was always available. Hope to be back soon!

We stayed at Rita's home for 3 weeks during summer of 2006. Our experience was terrific and beyond our expectations. The views were spectacular and in particular watching the moon come into view late in the evening. The accomadations were wonderful, as the home had everything we needed.

YOUR HOME IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. YOUR GOOD TASTE ABOUNDS INSIDE AND OUT. THE VIEW IS INCREDIBLE--WAKING UP EVERY MORNING--VIEWING THE MAGNIFICENT ROCKY MOUNTAINS WAS JUST STUNNING!!!
THE WILDLIFE WAS ABUNDANT AND ACTIVE. I FELT LIKE I WAS WATCHING A PBS GEOGRAPHIC WILDLIFE SPECIAL.
YOU HOUSE AND SURROUNDINGS WERE EVERYTHING YOU SAID AND MORE!!

We loved our second trip even more than the first. We feel as though this beautiful home is our second home. Everyday the views more breathtaking. We loved sitting outside on the patio and watching the clouds roll with upcoming changes in weather. The elk herd this year was a scene to behold. We found ourselves looking for them every morning and evening and were often rewarded to hear their bugling. We counted deer, fox, coyotes and lots of rabbits too. Rita and Chris always make us feel so welcome that we can't wait to come back. I can hardly wait for another crackling fire or mountain hike.

My family and I had high expectations for our Telluride visit, and they were surpassed! Rita and Chris's home is great, with some of the best views in Colorado. If you want peace and quiet and a beautiful home, this is the place to go.

I was frankly a bit nervous driving upto the Hastings Mesa at 2am at the beginning our family's month of July in Colorado. I awoke to a beautiful high country view of the surrounding mountains. Rita & Chris have a very special place here where we felt instantly at home. Only 30 minutes from Telluride and Ridgeway, the farmers markets, resturants, and relaxed lifestyle, but under stars and the milkyway as you may have never seen them, The Hasting Mesa is a place we will return to again and again. This home makes the place special with room for guests and your family. We couldn't recommend it more highly. |

This was an AMAZING HOME and I will definitely go back! Everything was WONDERFUL and I am so thankful Rita has allowed her home to be rented. Everybody needs to experience this AWESOME HOME. Please call me and I can tell you more about it. But it was the BEST vacation we have had! P.S. - we were in Breckenridge, CO last year - I won't go back there, but will definitely go back to Telluride and hopefully this house!
