We recently spent two weeks at Casa Verano and really loved the place.
The location is great and the property itself is ideal for relaxing by the pool or having a few cocktails on the upper deck. Our guests from England were extremely impressed with Casa Verano and Bucerias. |

Happy New Year! Just wanted to let you kow that we had a wonderful vacation at Casa Verano. The villa was very comfortable & in a great location for absolutely everything. We enjoyed the walk to Paradise Village & even saw an armadillo along the way. Great idea to include those directions, your packet of information was very helpful. The kids made great use of the pool. The exotic plants, flowers & the orange tree in the garden were absolutely wonderful to take in while relaxing over a game of scabble. Carlos kept us supplied with drinking water & did a great job keeping the yard looking perfect. Ya ya is one thourough cleaning lady. We went all over, thanks to your information packet. Each area is so uniquie. We also tried a few restaurants listed in your packet & were not disappointed. Thank you for your handy notes, & the use of the beautiful Casa Verano. I will not hesitate in recommending Casa Verano to any friends that I hear of looking for a lovely holiday spot in Mexico.

A note from the owners of Casa Verano.
Dear prospective vacationers: We wanted to add a note of our own to possible prospective tenants, interested in vacationing in Bucerias & renting Casa Verano for their stay.
Please remember that you will be renting a completely private villa, that is not full time staffed. If you have someone in your group that has never been to old Mexico & is more accustomed to vacationing in, full time staffed vacation resorts or hotels, a private villa may not be for them.
Our vacationers are more of the adventurous type, & enjoy being left on their own to take care of their own needs, & without the crowds of other vacationers.
About the Mexican Riviera. Over the years, we have found that a minut few of the vacationers are intimidated by jungle animals, such as geeko's, iguana's, jungle bats, etc. that live in the Bay of Banderas region. Also in the entire Mexican Riviera, including Puerto Vallarta, one will see very nice villas, condo's & vacation resorts on one block, then lower living standards a few blocks down. If this would intimidate someone within your party, Puerto Vallarta & the surrounding area is probably not the place for them. This area in Mexico, is not the same as Cancun or Playa Del Carmen.
In old Mexico, the Mexican culture is predominate. The locals are very friendly, & tourist orientated. For those who enjoy the Mexican culture, the Mexican Riviera is the place for them.

Well, I must admit, I had never been to Mexico before, so was amazed upon arrival into the Puerto Vallarta airport. The warm-fresh air, "finally". Thanks to the information packet that we received from the owner, we were easily able to make it safely to Casa Verano via taxi cab service from the airport. Being new into the country, we really appreciated all the information we received from the owners. We loved Casa Verano! Very private & relaxing. We took the buses everywhere & had a wonderful time. What an adventure we had. I just love Bucerias, we'll be going back!

We found Casa Verano a great place to stay, for privacy, access to the beach and it is within walking distance to downtown Bucerias & shopping area. The scenery is beautiful and there are many restaurants close by. Easy access to Puerto Vallarta.

Casa Verano is a fantastic place to stay. From the upper level you have a view of the ocean. It is a very romantic and quiet place to get away to. It is very well kept & clean, with gorgeous landscaping. The yard is very private, & the swimming pool was all mine.
The reason I like it so much is that it is much quieter than Puerto Vallarta, yet just a short bus ride to downtown Vallarta. It is a true and complete getaway from all the hustle & bustle of the city.
The village of Bucerias has many shops and restaurants, all with low prices and great food, and it is only a short walk to the main square.
It is a short 2 block walk to the ocean, with many different activities going on. The only thing missing is all the vendors, which to me is a good thing because they can drive you crazy.
I will definitely go there again and I hope that Casa Verano will be available next year for my vacation.

La Casa Verano is the perfect getaway. It offers the serentiy and privacy for complete relaxation, with Puerto Vallart just ten minutes away. The swimming pool is refreshing as is the ocean, which is a five minute walk. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who seeks a vacation destination that offers a peaceul getaway with opportunites to shop, sight-see, and experience fantastic restaurants either in Buscerias or in Puerto Vallarta.

I have stayed many times in Bucerias at different rentals and have found that Casa Verano is the best. The price is very reasonable. It is clean & very well kept, with the privacy that I desire. It has beautiful views of the ocean from the top patio, it is very relaxing to see the sun go down from this vantage point. The town of Bucerias offers many shops and restaurants with great prices and great food. If you wish to cook your own this is also an ideal place. Puerto Vallarta is a short bus ride away. Many times I have just walked into town & purchased by own fresh seafood & vegetables and cooked up some great meals. The home and where it is situated is like having your own slice of heaven, I can not wait to go back!

Casa Verano is a beautiful place to stay. Only 1/2 block from the taxi stand, on the south end of town. Buses are close too. It is approximately 7-8 blocks walking distance to the center of Bucerias. Bucerias is a small Mexican pueblo. It really is "old" Mexico at it's best. The people are very friendly, & helpful. I have never had any problems during my visits to Bucerias. I like to go during the whale watching season. Usually in January, February or March. The house is located on the south end of town, so it's quiet for a very relaxing time. I enjoy sitting around the pool & reading a good book. Puerto Vallarta is great for the night life, but it's always good to return to Bucerias after a night out in Puerto Vallarta. Puerto Vallarta is a little too busy & crowded for me, but I do love it there. Taxi fares from Bucerias to Puerto Vallarta run about $15-$20, or take the bus for only about $1.00. Rental cares in Puerto Vallarta can be expensive. So we normally take the bus or a taxi. When I am there, I love to take the bus north to other small towns for a little extra adventure. There are many Mexican villages to visit, with Bucerias & Casa Verano right in the center. I highly recommend Casa Verano as a place to stay when you're in Bucerias, or just looking for a great vacation.

If you are looking for privacy, beauty & convenience, Casa Verano is a wonderful place to stay. There are an unbelievable amount of resources and activities within walking distance, and when you get tired, Casa Verano is the perfect place to retire to. It is very quiet and peaceful and it's so easy to spend hours by the pool relaxing. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy rural Mexico and Puerto Vallarta is only 10-15 minutes away, for those who would prefer to explore the tourist spots. The owners were very helpful in providing directions and recommendations for nearby activities. This is by far one of the best places that I have stayed in Mexico!
