We stayed the week after Easter and had a tremendous time. The accomodations were better than we expected. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the condo; especially the beach access. Amelia Island has been a vacation destination for my family for over 15 years and this condo was by far the best we've experienced. I would welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at your gorgeous Amelia Island condo. The location on the Plantation was perfect-- close to restaurants, bike trails, shopping and most importantly just steps away from the beach. The decor is top-notch, with the feeling of a five star resort. And the views from the condo are spectacular! Thank you for a wonderful family vacation-- we can't wait to go back.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this Beachfront Townhouse at Amelia Island Plantation! Our trip was from 6/20-27th, 2009. The location of the townhouse was ideal as it was just steps to the beach and very close to the pool. We have 3 kids (12,11,&6mos) and the proximity to get back and forth was great. The townhouse was nicely furnished and had a great layout with two scenic balconies overlooking the ocean and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking meals. There is a great grocery store very close for supplies. The beach fishing was wonderful with over 100 fish caught during the week (sharks, jack crevalle, sea trout, bluefish, whiting, & even an unusual fish called an Atlantic guitarfish). The kids loved collecting shells and finding shark teeth as well as catching elusive mole crabs to use as fishing bait. Other activities on the property included body surfing, biking, hiking and a segway excursion. The kids also liked the activities sponsored by the Nature Center. These activities could be put on the amenity card which is included in the rental. We did not golf or play tennis but these facilities were top notch. The entire plantation was great & the townhouse had a great location so everything was easy to get to. We also did 2 back country fishing charters as a family which was close-by, and great for kids since water was nice & calm. Overall, I would highly recommend this rental & can't wait to revisit again!

I love the lay out this condo. Very large windows so you feel like you can touch the beach. From the top deck you can see the entire beach in both directions. It is a very warm and inviting home to relax and enjoy the beach on vacation

We had a wonderful time at this Beachfront Townhouse. The location was excellent with proximity to the Beach as well as private pool. Wonderful surf-fishing with over 100 fish caught during the week (Jack Crevalle, Sea Trout, Sharks, Bluefish, Whiting and even an Atlantic Guitarfish.) The townhouse was nicely decorated, clean and full of useful amenities. The kids (11&12) loved collecting shells, catching mole crabs for fishing bait, utilizing the nature center programs & even hanging out on the scenic porches reading. The baby (6 mos) had ample room to maneuver around main living room without getting into any troublesome situations. We enjoyed bike riding, segway adventure, 2 different family half-day back country fishing charters (off-site). Endless things to do on the property! Amenity card was included with the rental which was great for nature center kid programs, dinner, & bike/segway rentals. We didn't golf or play tennis but the facilities/courses looked very nice. We are definitely planning a trip back! I would highly recommend. |
