We very much enjoyed staying in this house; it was nice to have a place big enough that our family of 19 could all be under one roof, could be together at times, and cluster in small groups at other times. We have kind of a family tradition of doing plays at Christmas time; in past years we have purchased murder mysteries that we performed with as many family members as possible. This year each son and his family were challenged to come up with a play of their own which they then performed for the rest of the group. The house worked well for this as there was space for each family to go off and practice; then on the last night, each family presented their play. We appreciated having a kitchen and dining room so that we could cook and feed our bunch. We did visit the local Mexican restaurant at lunchtime one day. We also enjoyed reading the notebook about the history of the house and the town. We were very pleased to be able to rent the house; it helped make our holiday a very special occasion.

My wife and I rented the home and invited members of her family and my best friend. We had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the space, the antiques, the location, and sleeping areas. What a great location to be within walking distances of churches, shopping, restaurants, etc. We rarely drove. We used the parlor as people 200 years ago would to play checkers by candlelight. We played scrabble by candlelight. The ladies and one man bathed in the claw foot tubs. We enjoyed the big screen HD tv for pro football and college basketball. What a great place. My wife and I will be back. Thanks Tim!

I surprised husband for his 75th birthday by having our whole family meet at the house. It was beyond my expectations the house was beautiful, full of antiques but yet very comfortable and homey. Thank you for sharing your jewel in Ky with us.What a great little town.

What a wonderful experience! My husband fell in love with the antique organ. My son-in-law was fascinated with all the history. My mother-in-law felt like she had gone back in time. There was Blues music playing down the street our family enjoyed. We were staying in a "museum" but also had the modern conveniences. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.
