| I call this my "cabin" resort. I've stayed here for a week for two years. Its great for seeing Montana by just looking out the many large windows in the cabin - antelope, horses, beautiful birds, snow covered mountains all to the sound of the rushing creek. The "cabin" is filled with beautiful antiques, rugs, coupled with all the modern appliances. Calling it a cabin is really stretching the defintion of the word! There is almost no need to leave the cabin except to the wonderful "Grand" restaurant in town which serves the best 5star meals you'd find at any big city restaurant along with a full service bar. There are outdoor activities galore for those so inclined, but for me, just sitting on the deck, listening to the wind, or the rain, or the kiss of the sun, reading good books, inhaling the clean fresh air and the beauty of nature all around me is restful and renewing. I leave there feeling five years younger and ready to take on the world again! |

| We stayed at this cabin in early June and absolutely loved the experience! The tranquility the cabin offered, the natural setting, the beautiful views, the comfort of the cabin, and the kindness of the owners made this experience very special. A short walk up a nearby hill afforded us a great view of the entire valley and the Crazy Mountains (a great hiking location). Each night, the babbling of the creek directly behind the cabin and the songs of inumerable birds added to the sense of being surrounded by nature and served as a nice lullaby. During our night in Big Timber, we had a fantastic dinner at the Grand Hotel and highly recommend it. We had a wonderful trip and we'll be sure to reserve this cabin next year! |
