| Wow! Where do I begin? First the pictures nowhere near capture the beauty of this place. The views are breathtaking, the house is immaculate and the owners are the nicest most hospitable people we have ever dealt with.We definately want to return and possibly stay longer. I could go on and on but still couldnt find words good enough to describe our experience. We arrived on the 10th of October and left on the 17th of October. The leaves were just starting to turn and it was beautiful.The Hibjans were so gracious and helpful. |

We have a family of five with two teenage boys, and we had the time of our lives this past week! When you first read the description for this house and look at the pictures you almost feel like it's too good to be true, but then you actually get there and you see that the pictures can't even do it justice! We spent the week enjoying the incredible view, watching movies at night, playing the many games available in the house (Boulderdash is the best!), go-karting, white water rafting, hiking,swimming, and most of all just relaxing and enjoying our time together in the incredible spot.
Mike and his wife were beyond hosspitable. We have never encountered more friendly people in our long history of vacation rentals. They genuinely cared about us having a great time and wen well out of their way to make sure that happened. Even the neighbors were welcoming! Bottum line is we couldn't have asked for a better home to spend our vacation in, and we are all looking forward to the next time we can get back down there!

| When we drove from Cleveland Ohio, we didn't know what to expect. When we arrived we thought we would have fun, but we had no idea it was going to be so amazing. The house is gorgeous, with beautiful furnishings and very comfortable beds. As for the view, it is so breathtaking, I took a picture and it is my new desktop background at work. We enjoyed relaxing nights gazing at the stars next to the campfire and morning coffee on the deck overlooking God’s beautiful creations. There are so many things to do, and the house is very close to the lake, shops and mountain trails. The only problem with our stay was having to leave. The owners were wonderful to work with and they really go above and beyond to provide the ultimate vacation experience. We have already planned on making another trip! |

My wife Joan and I found a beautiful home with a view that rivals the Alps.
We had a wonderful time in July and are returning in August. After a day of fun it is so nice to come back to peace and privacy. One afternoon was spent at the Hayesville Craft Festival in the Square, where we met some very friendly people selling their excellent work. We were entertained by the cloggers and musicians from the John C. Campbell Folk School and we loved that! as this was our first visit to this area we did a lot of exploring. Thank you Janice and Mike. |

| My wife and I simply love this vacation rental. It is incredibly spacious, comfortable, and the views are amazing. The lake is nearby for incredible fishing or boating, hiking trails are accessible, the golf course is challenging, and one of my favorite spots is the Fires Creek Area. It is a must visit for a picnic or small hike. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for an extraordinary vacation experience, well worth the price, and top notch owners who put alot of thought and care into their property. I highly recommend this rental for all seasons. I can only imagine what it must be like to look out at the view while the leaves change color. This is a 5 star rental that you won't be disappointed in. |

| We have rented homes and cabins in the mountains many times but found this one to be especially nice. The view was excellent, the home very comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this rental to anyone who loves the mountains. |

Mom and I have been renting in this area for the past nine years and this is by far the best. The pictures do not do the house and views justice. The house is beautiful, clean and nicely furnished. The daytime views of the mountains and lake are breathtaking. The nighttime view of the twinkling lights is enchanting. The owners are exceptional - very gracious and thoughtful. They go beyond the normal to make your stay pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing. Even after five weeks, it is very hard to leave! Mike and Janice - Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us.
