I have had the opportunity to stay in Lake Arrowhead before, but never in such luxury.
The decor was lovely. The pictures on this site do not give each room enough justice. It was so wonderful to walk into each and every room and see a little bit of the outdoors brought inside. It was so cheerful.
The view from each window was captivating in its own way. Sitting on the porch off the main level and having a crystal clear view of the lake was spectacular. On our last day there we were able to watch the snow fall while having breakfast in the dining area off of the kitchen.
Speaking of the kitchen, my husband is a chef and he couldn't say enough about the layout of this kitchen. To tell you the truth, I didn't mind washing dishes while we were there because there was another lovely view from the window above the sink.
Looking at picture with the view of the lake, it's hard to imagine how close you are to it. I was surprised that I was able to walk there in under 10 minutes. It only took a couple more to get to the village. On another note, when you do go to the village, check out the Razzbearies Bakery and Cafe. It's worth the walk.
I can go on and on, but I won't. I will simply say, that I cannot wait for another opportunity to stay in this sensational cabin.
