I have twice visited this home on Fishers Island.
Both times it was as though I was in an entirely
different world. The island itself is enchanting - one
steps back in time into a combination of nature at
it's best and tradition.
The house itself is open and inviting, comfortable
and able to easily accomodate a group. And it's
right on the ocean and yet private. Hang out on the
screen porch with a book, in the living room with a
puzzle, cook to your heart's content in the open
and generous kitchen, hike along the many island
trails, site the numerous osprey nests or relax on
the sandy beaches. It's a treat. |
