Gayla and Rich certainly have a gem of a home at
Ekolu. We were welcomed by a fruit basket for our
40th wedding anniversary and immediately fell in
love with their home and their evident hospitality.
They had thought of everything, even basic spices
in the kitchen and cooking oil. The view from the
lanai ( and windows) is a wide angle view of the
islands and ocean over the trees. It was especially
fun to watch the clouds and the purple-pink light
cast on Molokini every morning at dawn, and then
to photograph the sunset in the evening from the
lanai !! The general area is quiet and you can walk
to the Shops at Wailea and even the beach. The
snorkeling in this general area is fantastic and if
you are persistent you will see many turtles as well,
at the outward edges of the reefs. The owners even
had a fish identification guide, video movies and
novels available. The condo has easy access to
parking and an overall feeling of privacy. We are
going back next summer because we know we will
feel like we are coming home again… Mahalo

| I have so many wonderful comments regarding my stay, I don’t know where to begin! The condo and its location are top notch. The condo has been beautifully remodeled and is more than functional. Our trip included 6 family members and we were all so comfortable. Our views from inside the condo and from the lanai were amazing. It looked like something out of picture/photo book. Wailea is a terrific location! Every excursion that we wanted to experience was at our fingertips. From exploring many different beaches, attending a Luau, surfing & boogie boarding, scuba diving & snorkeling to visiting the aquarium. With the Maui Revealed book located in the condo we were able to find everything we wanted to see. This vacation was one of my all time favorites. I would recommend this condo and location to anyone. My family can’t wait to go back! |

| We have been to Maui several times but this was the first time in October. We found out that October is a wonderful time to come to Maui! We plan on coming back many more times and we hope to stay here each time. The sunsets are fabulous and the ocean views are spectacular. The amenities were the best and we had all the comforts of home. The condo was perfect and it was a pleasure working with Rich & Gayla (the owners). You knew it was important to them that we enjoyed our stay. We own a resort in Downieville, CA so we know a jewel when we see one and this is one! NO KA OI!! |

We have stayed at this updated condo that was very clean a few times and always enjoyed our stay. This condo has incredible lanai views to watch the sunsets as well as the peaceful ocean (we have even seen the whales from the dining table).
It is very nice to start our day by taking a short walk to the local Coffee House in the Shops at Wailea. The kitchen is easy to cook in as it is well appointed (also has the great views) or you can go to one of the many great restaurants so close to the condo.
There are two pools in the complex and one is very close.
This condo is a perfect place to stay at and relax. We highly recommend this condo. |
