We especially liked the porch and the view off the back. We watched the moon rise both nights
and the sun rise both mornings - glorious! The eastern brow view was a real plus!

| My husband and I just returned from a wonderful weekend at Acorn Ledge Lodge. We loved everything about the cabin, but the back porch was our favorite part. The porch faces east over a valley with mountains beyond that. Sunrises and moonrises were fabulous - worth staying up or getting up for. |

| I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our weekend at your cabin. It was perfect, very cozy and serene. And as you predicted, I am one of the visitors who is going to ask where you got the mattresses. I awoke without my back aching. Even the pillows were perfect. Did you pick them up where you bought your mattresses? My daughter slept til 10:00; I had to awaken her to get ready so we could make it to our reunion on time. Thanks. Marie |

We had a wonderful trip. The cabin is awesome,along with
the view.It was so nice to have all the extra waiting for us,too. We go to the mountains about twice a year and have never had the breakfast and condiments. It was also an extra to have the washer and dryer. We plan on going back; the area was beautiful. Also, the yard sale was awesome.

My family visited in August 2009. We thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness of the cabin and all of the unique features it has. Traveling with small children is not easy, but you made it fun with plenty to do. We spent our four days visitng area caves and nearby attractions. Everything was close enough to enjoy and yet the cabin is away from city life. I will be recommending your place to my friends for a great get-away! Wendy- Orange Park , Florida

| My family spent our vacation at Acorn Lodge and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed just hanging out hiking and taking a walk to a lake down the road. I enjoyed the porch which was screened in and had a wonderful view. We went to Rock City which is close by and I highly recommend seeing. The scenery before the cabin was beautiful and I would definitely stay again. Debi |

Wanted to write and let you know what a thoroughly delightful time we all had at your lovely cottage. My husband was a little concerned when we drove up - it looks like such a tiny dollhouse on the outside! We were all amazed at how spacious it was inside, and everyone was more than comfortable in their own bed. It was so peaceful and quiet - just what we were looking for.

My daughters and I stayed in Sara's lovely cabin for two nights and it was a delightful and magical stay for us all. The cabin is completely set up for all your needs and then some, decorated in the most tasteful and charming style I have ever seen in a rental-right out of the pages of "Country Home". The land around is beautiful, the view spectacular, the privacy and serenity - unparalleled. I highly recommend this lovely property and the graciousness and professionalism of its owner. Can't wait to come back!

| Acorn Ledge Lodge provided wonderful accomodations and peace following a day of outdoor sightseeing. The interiors of the cabin are tastefully finished and extremely well maintained. The view over Shinbone Valley is breathtaking. We will definitely be back. |

| Staying here was one of the nicest experiences we ever had. Virtually everything but perishables were furnished and it was like home away from home. A much better ambiance then even the most posh hotel. This cabin is truly a slice of Heaven. The veiw is magnificent and the entire surrounings are serene and tranquil. It's an absolutely wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are a number of fascinating things to do and places to visit witin a very short distance and the locals are so friendly it's difficult to imagine. An overall ten experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone, whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or just a peaceful and relaxing vacation for the family. |

| I would like to think Sara, the owner of Acorn Ledge Lodge, for the wonderful vacation experience I had at her cabin. Lookout Mountain is a very sentimental place for me. I have vacationed here in the past and even attended Camp Juliette Low at the age of 10. This was such a relaxing get away. Just what I needed in order to refresh and recharge during these hard economic times. Thank you again! I know I will be returning very soon! |
