My sister and I booked this wonderful property and had the absolute best time. This was my sister’s first trip to France and it is a wonderful memory that we both would like to repeat in the future. Our vacation here was absolutely wonderful.
The condo is very comfortable, the views are fabulous (we even had a bonus fireworks show courtesy of one of the luxury yachts parked in the nearby harbor at Golfe Juan) and the weather in early October was perfection. The layout of the apartment and spacious balcony make it a perfect spot to enjoy company, relax with a good book or enjoy a meal overlooking the spectacular and sparkling Riviera. I’m a bit of a news junkie and though the TV channels were limited, I could get my fix of CNN whenever I felt the urge.
We rented a car at the Nice Airport and had no trouble getting to the apartment complex. The roads are easy to navigate once you get used to the rules for navigating roundabouts and understanding French signage. The apartment is less than an hour from the airport, 5 minutes to Golfe Juan and if you miss the turn-off to the complex going south, the next town you get to is Cannes. There is a turnaround just past the complex by the gas station, however.
The central location of the apartment was perfect for day trips to Grasse (for soaps and perfume), Monaco and Eze, Old Nice and St. Paul (wonderful art galleries) and of course Golfe Juan for shopping, dining and people watching. Market Day in Golfe Juan is a great place to find bargains. We also spent a day checking out Aix d’ Provence and drove through San Tropez on the way back. We vacationed here 10 days, and I could have stayed for at least a couple of months. The south of France is magical and our stay in this lovely apartment made it all the more so.
The beach is a short walk away and we had it all to ourselves with a couple of hikers passing by. The entire complex is filled with flowers, wonderfully maintained and easy to get around.
Thanks so much for sharing your lovely apartment!
