Although I did not stay in this property, I did go to
investigate it while I was in Quito in order to plan
for a future visit with my wife and 2 children. I
visited the villas as well as the country club (golf,
horses, pool, restaurant, etc.).
This property is really great. A virtually brand new
building with new and trendy furnishings, plus you
have the option of "joining" the country club right
in the neighborhood for a small fee. You can walk
to it -- very close. If you wish to leave the
neighborhood, a taxis will come take you to the
modern mall 10 minutes away for just about
everything you could want for only a couple of
dollars.
Most important, Carlos (the owner) and his wife and
children live in an equally nice house right next
door. They are VERY hospitable and friendly. They
have lived and worked in the US and know what
North Americans are used to. I will definitely book
a stay next time I head down to Ecuador. |
