Our stay at Gordon's apartment was WONDERFUL!!!! Gordon was an amazing host who went far beyond the norm to help us. He met us at the apartment and helped us contact our relatives at home. He had stocked the frig and pantry so that we didn't have to go to the store right away. The apartment was spotless with everything we could ever need. He answered all of our questions and was a great source of information for local sights. The apartment was very conveniently to the Royal Mile and to a local shopping center. We will definitely stay with Gordan again on our next visit to Edinburgh!!!!

We have just returned to NZ after spending 4 weeks in England, Scotland, Ireland
and Wales and Gordon's apartment was the best of all our accomodation.
Kitchen facilities were exceptional, having some complimentary goodies in the
fridge on arrival was wonderful, having a washing machine was brilliant, very
close to a supermarket and petrol station. Comfy chairs and bed

| My brother & I stayed here for 4 nights while we were in Edinburgh. It's a very nice furnished, modern apartment at a very reasonable price. It's right next to Holyrood park and only a short walk away from the royal mile. We only got to meet Gordon briefly, but he's very nice & very helpful over the phone if you have questions. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a place to stay in Edinburgh - much better than a hotel. Thanks again, Gordon! We had a blast. |

| We had a wonderful time,our tenant gave us the best welcome, he's really a lovely person, so kind and nice, he was always attentive to any request we had; the appartment had everything you could possibly need besides being very cozy and clean. We really felt like if we were home elsewhere. We loved it... |

Gordon,
The flat was far nicer than anything we had anticipated. It was very helpful to have the clothes washer and dish washer. Everything was perfect.
We love walking and were happy that we were within walking distance of everything.
We very much appreciated the bottle of wine and groceries you left, it made arrival much easier.
You are a wonderful host. If we ever get back to Edinburgh we hope to stay with you, again.

Comments: What a wonderful time we had in Edinburgh. The flat was
located conveniently right next to Holyrood Palace Park. The walk to the
Royal Mile was a short peaceful walk through the park. Gordon, you are a

The apartment was above and beyond what we
expected. Gordon had stocked the fridge, provided
us with loads of snacks and breakfast foods, and
even delivered delicious tomatoes from his garden.
We made good use of the laptop/internet,
flatscreen and washer/dryer, and, loved that the
apartment was exceptionally clean. Since the
apartment was also close to everything we felt that
we lucked out in finding it on VRBO. Add to all this
that Gordon let us take in a wedding guest friend -
at the very least we were definately wowed by his
gracious hospitality. I will recommend this place to
anyone going to Edinburgh and hope to stay there
again. |

| I stayed at Gordon's apartment this July with my wife and another couple for 5 days and 4 nights. Everything about our experience was wonderful. Gordon was easy to get a hold of on the phone and even met us the morning of our arrival at the apartment. The apartment was beautifully decorated and he even had the fridge and cupboards stocked with food for our visit. He checked with us every few days to see how our trip was going and if we needed anything. The apartment was only a 10-15 minute from the end of the Royal Mile and was right next to Hollyrood Park. We could not have asked for more. Thanks Gordon, Edinburgh was awesome!! |

WOW! What a fantastic place! Very modern with all
the comforts of home. Very clean, bright and airy.
Close to everything that you need, sites, food
stores, hiking, shopping, and many many historic
things to see. Gordon was the most helpful and
accomidating host, very pleasant and professional.
We will absolutely stay here again when we return
to Edinbough.

We enjoyed staying there very much. It was very clean and comfortable unit in nice area near the beautiful park. And the owner was very nice and helpful.
We walked to the Castle everyday.
I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for modern, clean and comfortable unit. |

This fantastic Scottish gem, is a brand new flat next to Holyrood Palace park. The owner is the best I have met on VRBO, and I use this service alot. Mr. Lauder is a superb gentleman, who went beyond the call of duty to meet all of my needs while I stayed in his lovely, comfortable, clean home for two weeks. Every amenity is new, and state of the art. The decor is fantastic with beautiful cat and wildlife paintings.There is a great bed that you actually get a good night's sleep in. I would definitely stay here again!
