| What a get away. It was everything we hoped for and more. The river was awesome. Made our way up to Fires Creek, and it was awesome too. If you like nature, and the mountains this is definitely the place to stay. You can entertain yourselves just staying at the cabin, it is set up with something for everyone, from the pool table and darts to the stereo system,(bring your I-pod). Hot tub on the deck, tubes for tubing down the river, this place is a vacation waiting to happen. We would definitely recommend this to our friends. While we were out riding we went up and checked out the Dam and ran into an older man from Hayesville, and he told us about the area all around, pointing out the mountains by name to us, he was a jewel, so glad he happened to be there that day, he even invited us back to his house to look at some pictures, you don't find alot of people like him around anymore. I would call him lovingly an "Old Timer". |
