| This February (for the entire month) will be our 3rd trip to loreto and we will again be staying at this property. Friends (golfers) will be joining us, also eager for this perfect spot as a mid-winter break from the snow and cold of Colorado's mountains. The home is sunny, spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. The master suite is separated from the guest suite by a floor making it ideal for sharing with guests. Though it is air conditioned we rarely used it choosing rather to enjoy the warm, dry air of the Baja. The home is three minutes from the Sea Of Cortez and the Inn At Loreto Bay where we spent a lot of time lounging by the pools, eating and drinking at its restaurants and bars, enjoying water activities, walking the beach and soaking up the sights, sounds and sun of the bay area. The town of Loreto, truly Old mexico, is a must see and the countryside both north and south provides wonderful site seeing - spectular mountains, water and desert scenery, quaint towns and historic sites - and there is a myriad of water sports and activities (including whale watching and fishing - big and small game) to do in and around this home, the resort and the town. Restaurants are plentiful and varied and reasonably priced. This will definitely be our every year winter destination. |
