My husband and I just returned from a fabulous week-long "VACATION IN PARADISE" in this lovely and very well appointed Condo in The Vista Waikoloa, Waikoloa Beach Resort at Anaeho'omalu Bay. We count ourselves very fortunate indeed, to have chosen this Penthouse Property to rent at The Vista Waikoloa, as it is so comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and has the most fantastic views and location!
The Owner has taken great care to provide everything one would want in a vacation rental, and she was so gracious and helpful to us, every step of the way. She also gave us a fantastic rate for our 8 day Rental.
There are so many things to do and see on the Big Island of Hawaii and we were on the go the whole time. After a long day of sightseeing, snorkeling or golfing, we especially enjoyed relaxing on the spacious, wrap-around balcony (Lanai) enjoying the fantastic views!
We are both very happy to recommend to all, this special and unique Penthouse Property, with Mountain and Ocean Views. We would most definitely rent once again, if we are lucky enough to have the opportunity to return to the most beautiful Big Island of Hawaii.
Many Thanks, Marlena, and ALOHA,
Susan and Chuck Rybos, Chevy Chase, MD.

Homeowner Response:
"Mahalo" to you both, Susan and Chuck, for choosing my Penthouse Property at "The Vista Waikoloa" in the Waikoloa Beach Resort, for your Vacation Rental last month. Thank you also, for allowing me the opportunity to welcome you to a most memorable and romantic "VACATION IN PARADISE."
How auspicious that my Cousin, for whom I was the Wedding Planner 2 years ago, decided to reserve an alternate time to celebrate their 2nd Wedding Anniversary on the Big Island of Hawaii, and just one hour prior to your VRBO Inquiry, released their Anniversary Date of August 21, 2009.
You traveled 6,000 miles to enjoy Paradise and as Owners yourselves, VRBO Listing #229642 in Rehoboth Beach Delaware, you know what you like and expect in a Vacation Rental. I'm so happy that my Penthouse Property far exceeded your expectations! I look forward to your referrals and I shall be happy to refer guests to your East Coast Property. I also look forward to your repeat business in future years. Many Mahalos and ALOHA, Marlena

Our first visit to the Hawaiian Islands and we hit the Jackpot! Choosing to stay at the Waikoloa Beach Resort and this fabulous Condo at The Vista Waikoloa was a perfect choice for us. It is located close enough to Kona to allow us days of shopping and sightseeing in town. 20 Minutes from the Airport was a great location----we stocked up at Costco nearby the Airport and headed directly to our "home away from home" to rest up after our long flight. One of the 8 Best Beaches in the World is located nearby and the boys enjoyed everything the Hawaiian tropical waters had to offer--surfing, sailing, swimming and snorkeling with protected green sea turtles, surrounded by colorful tropical fish, graceful manta rays and playful dolphins. We all enjoyed the picturesque landscapes, formed by the flowing lava from extinct volcanoes. We studied the petroglyphs, learned about the ancient Hawaiians and their customs and even enjoyed a Full Moon "Talk Story" hosted by Danny Akaka, oceanside on the lawn at Mauna Lani. We took a family walk around Sacred Ponds and posed for pictures with colorful sunsets at A-Bay. We even got to see the famous green flash!! Sometimes we walked and sometimes we took the tram to the King Shops for some fresh Hawaiian fish at one of the restaurants there. We enjoyed eating popcorn while watching a movie on the green, one night under the stars. For our Big Adventure, we drove to the Hilo side (3 1/2 hours) to view the erupting Volcano, Kilauea, and to tour Volcanoes National Park. Walking along the Lava paths and marveling at the active Volcano, watching new land being formed, is a sight my sons and I will never forget! After our active days touring this diverse Island, we always enjoyed coming "Home" to this comfortable Condo. One night for dinner, after swimming in our salt-water pool, we grilled steaks from the famous Parker Ranch and local Hawaiian-grown corn then lounged on the spacious Lanai, under the star-lit sky, identifying so many more constellations in the clear Hawaiian Heavens than on the Mainland. Even when we were relaxing in the living room, watching TV in one of two recliners, we could enjoy the mountain views outside. It took our breath away to know that we were so small in comparison to the tallest mountain in the World, Mauna Kea, our magnificent neighbor! When it came time to leave our new found Paradise, we found it almost impossible to board the plane. We have traveled far and wide, but always desire to return to this luxurious Condo again and again. |

Thank you to our friend, the owner of this magnificent condo, for your generosity and hospitality. We really appreciate your kindness to us and your fabulous rates! Our friends also enjoyed themselves immensely and can attest to the lovely accommodations in your condo.
Although there are so many varied activities to enjoy on the Big Island of Hawaii, especially at your condo at Vista Waikoloa, Waikoloa Beach Resort at Anaeo'ohmalu Bay, we most enjoyed returning at the end of a busy day to the comfortable surroundings of your beautiful Condo. Your fully-equipped kitchen allowed us to serve delicious meals and enjoy them with our friends on your private top floor Lanai. We loved relaxing in your comfortable living room, watching TV or just visiting with our friends.
During the day we would either lay by the salt-water swimming pool on the premises or in one of the two hot tubs, or take a walk on one of the 8 Best Beaches in the World! Snorkeling with the green sea turtles and colorful tropical fish was one of our favorite pastimes. Taking a walk through the waterfall path to the King Shops to peruse the upscale shops, or visit one of several tasty restaurants, dining under the clear Hawaiian skies, added to our enjoyment. Some evenings we sat on our private Lanai, overlooking A-Bay.
Our husbands had the opportunity to use the new Fitness Center on the premises while we could pamper ourselves at one of the Resort's Spas.
A couple of nights we grilled fresh Hawaiian fish out on the lanai. One afternoon we walked to the Hilton Waikoloa Resort and Spa (5 minutes away) and enjoyed the landscapes, where we also caught a glimpse of children swimming with the Dolphins, under the supervision of Dolphin Quest. One day we would like to return to enjoy Paradise with our little ones.
We want everyone to know how fabulous this wonderful Condo is and how accommodating the owner will be to you. Book your own reservation to enjoy your family vacation! We can't wait to return. |

This comment may be overdue, but nonetheless significant and full of gratitude and love. The Owner of this luxurious Condo happens to be my Cousin who was so gracious, in not only accommodating us for our Honeymoon in her Vacation Rental, but in planning and coordinating all the details of our Wedding on the Big Island of Hawaii. Those are our pictures on this site, thanks to my Cousin!
In sharing our thoughts, if we could convince others to stay at this particular Condo, we would tell you that in 7 days we had all our needs met and never even had the desire to leave this luxurious Penthouse Villa!
From the most comfortable King size bed and the deepest soaking tub we've ever seen in the Master Suite, to the designer-decorated living room, with relaxing recliner chairs, enabling us to enjoy the views of magnificent Mauna Kea & Hualalai from inside the Condo, we had no reason to leave!
Dining alfresco on the wrap-around Lanai was an added treat, (for us Honeymooners---we could access the Lanai directly from the Master Suite) and enjoy the breathtaking views both day and night. We've never seen so many stars in the clear Hawaiian sky and from this Penthouse Condo we felt we could just reach up and touch the Heavens.
Each Anniversary, although we must travel 6,000 miles to once again partake of Paradise, we return to share in the delights of this unique, luxurious and romantic abode to relive our memories of our wonderful Wedding here in Paradise.
Book your reservation to enjoy being pampered in Paradise and contact my dear Cousin as your own Wedding Planner! |

What could be more beautiful than Hawaii, especially the Big Island? And, where could the comforts of home be enjoyed the most? The answer is this magnificent Villa!!
More than a "Home Away From Home" this Penthouse Vila has it all----breathtaking views, special amenities, chef's kitchen, and especially a unique salt-water lap pool. I am a swimmer and delighted in this fabulous pool both day and evening! And nothing can compare to sitting under the stars at night in not one, but two, luxurious hot tubs---hot and hotter.
Taking morning coffee on the wrap-around lanai, overlooking the highest mountain in the world, Mauna Kea, and watching the sun rise over it's snow-capped peaks, just took my breath away. In the evening, watching the moon rise over the same extinct volcano was captivating. And for an added thrill, we swam in the Ocean at "A-Bay" BETWEEN the Sun and the Moon, studying the sunset for the famous "Green Flash."
I travel from California to Hawaii often and would never consider staying anyplace else but this luxurious and very fairly priced Condo. The Owner is willing to negotiate rates during the economic crisis.
Having been in the Travel Business, I would highly recommend the Waikoloa Beach Resort and this particular Condo at the Vista Waikoloa as a perfect #10. |
