| We stayed here during Thanksgiving. Very unique cabin with lots of character, I don't think there was a single piece of sheetrock used in its construction. Perfect place to get away, relax and recharge your batteries. |

Such a special place.
The moment you enter the gate, you'll know how lucky you are to have been on such a truly unique piece of property.
The cabin is perfectly simple and accommodating, situated on the point of a hill that descends to the confluence of two trout streams.
If not for my current good mood, I wouldn't do this, but...add a few feet to the leader, 14-16 BH pheasant-tail or tan, flash-back hare's ear with a 18-20 prince or lightning bug dropper. I caught fish on all four...and some others. (And there's no such thing as too much split shot!) |

| Sallie's Place is the quintessential fly-fisherman's retreat. Perfectly placed at the confluence of Cooper's Creek and the Upper Toccoa River, it provides a low-pressure, almost western style, trout stream destination. A true gem that I hesitate to share but should be enjoyed by a few discriminating folk. |

| We stayed at Sallie's Place in mid-October and found the tranquility and warmth of the cabin and the locale to be exactly what we needed. It is abundantly clear that the owners of this cabin care a great deal about it as it is kept in optimum condition and is well-stocked. While it rained several days during our stay, the view from the rear deck of the Toccoa River and the fire we built in the deck's fire pit kept us both comfortable and content during our stay. You will be hard-pressed to find a more serene location to "re-charge your batteries" and soothe your soul if that is your goal. |

| We enjoyed our Labor Day week-end get-away at this well-stocked, secluded cabin. Beautiful water for fly-fishing, with access to both Toccoa River and Cooper Creek, is a short walk from the porch. Especially loved sitting in the deck swing, listening to the river run over rocks.........so relaxing........just what we needed! |

What a wonderful place! Sallies Place sits nested in the Evergreens with Mountain Laurel and Rhodedendren everywhere. The view of the Toccoa from the deck is spectacular. No better place to enjoy so much nature.
Sallies Place is well maintained and has everything you need for a weekend or full week stay. The cabin is well furnished and a relaxing place.
The owners are very gracious and friendly folks. Seem highly committed to providing a pleasant stay to their guests and go the extra step to make sure it happens. My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and will return soon to the place we have come to know as being a little north of Heaven. |

We so enjoyed staying at Sallies. It was over the July 4th holiday when we were there. It was so nice to get away from all the heat in Atlanta, to enjoy the cool weather and the beautiful view from the porch. We read, played scrabble, and cooked wonderful dinners on the grill. Can't wait to come back!!! |

| This cabin sits on a beautiful piece of land. We really enjoyed listening to the river each night while sitting on the back deck. It was a very relaxing experience and there are many things to do in the area including visiting the many lakes and rivers nearby. |

| Your stay at this cabin will be an incredible getaway. Relax among ancient evergreen trees and walk through the shady forest down to the river. If you're like us, get your rod, reel, and kayak and float the river, and then head back for a quiet evening with nature. Thanks for this experience! |

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend and found many activities to do. Among the many we enjoyed were trout fishing in the front yard, kayaking or tubing down the Toccoa, and relaxing on the front porch. We also adored the quiet and serene sitting area between the river and the house nestled in the enormous hemlocks. I own VRBO # 149588 and have stayed in several VRBO houses around Florida but this tops the chart! This was a great stay and the owners are wonderful. I hope to bring my in-laws back soon. The fishing is renowned and the trout are large and plentiful. |
