Nov.1 2008 my wife,Brenda & I stayed at Mountains Mountain & we felt it was a perfect getaway.It is located in a perfect area(Pike County,Il.)known for it's wildlife,namely deer & turkey,of which we saw several,many deer right outside the cabin door.The view from the cabin is breathtaking & the golf cart ride on the trails around the property and thru the creek is even better.I'm an outdoors person and even without the outdoors this would have been a great stay, the cabin is wonderful.The setting inside the cabin is worth the trip itself with the fireplace, the hideaway upstairs with the upstairs deck, and decor are great.The Mountains provided a gas grill for our grilling pleasure and even left us Chocolate Chip Cookies for us to fix fresh in the oven.All of this added up to a wonderful stay.But the best part about Mountains Mountain is the Mountains themselves,you won't find better people anywhere.We plan on returning ASAP.

What a restful, quiet getaway we were able to experience for our 20th anniversary. Very comfortable accommodations in this secluded cabin. Must be experienced for at least two nights in order to 'decompress' and unwind. We did not want to leave. Thanks, Wayne & Genna, for opening your cabin for us to enjoy. We will be back with our 5 children next time...

Brayden (7years old) and Mark (47) had a wonderful time at Mountains Mountain. Brayden had a lot of fun shooting his 22 Rifle, Dad even let him shoot the 12 and 20 ga shotgun. We caught many fish in deer track pond and enjoyed cooking out also. We walked many trails and seen 6 deer. On our last day Brayden woke me up and we went fishing in the creek.(5:30am) The movie selections were just what we liked. We will return often and recommend Mountains mountain to all!
