| Our family of 5 children (aged 6 thru 12)and 2 adults stayed here for 5 days in August 09. The place worked perfectly. There is a bus stop right outside the house that goes to the tube station and continues up to Portobello Road for the fantastic market - kids 10 and under are free on London transport (buy an Oyster card for those over that age). The house itself is bright and spacious and very clean and modern. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bedrooms are light and airy and the beds and linens top notch. The bathroom has a lovely large tub and the hot water is plentiful. For those with children, the house backs up onto a sizeable park with a nice playground, green space and a fab little open air, fenced water park for the summer months - the type with the padded surface, squirty fountains and buckets that fill with water and tip out on your head - perfect for swimmers and non swimmers alike. It was very new and clean with toilets and changing rooms onsite. I would definitely recommend this house for either a family or travellers without children. The house is as chic and modern as the pictures suggest - you will not be let down. |

| Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the your beautiful home in Notting Hill. We loved the spacious layout, the wonderful art and furnishings and the very comfortable beds and fine linens. It was fun to experience a London "neighborhood" and to see how the locals live. We enjoyed the fine restaurants in the area, and took advantage of the offerings of the wonderful Portobello market. Public transit was quickly and easily accessible - bus and tube - but walking downtown was also an option. After spending our days in the exciting hubbub of the city, it was truly a pleasure to return to the quiet luxury of your lovely home. Thank you for sharing it with us! |
