Hi! We had a very relaxing week. Didn't get many fish, but catch or not, fishing is always enjoyable...next time I'll bring more than my canoe. Weekend was non-stop traffic (fun to watch) and then weekdays were super quiet (our preference). Ate at the Kennon House, toured downtown Gasburg and other area tourist spots. You have a great library or reading material which we enjoyed. Wanted to bring the antique desk/bookcase in the master bedrrom back with me but knew you would miss it! Thanks so much for the use of your place...hopefully we will be there next year.

Thank you for sharing your lake home with us...it's a beautiful spot on the lake. We really enjoyed the flat lot so close to the water. And it was great to have the use of the boat life...our boat didn't take a beating like it has in the past. It was a bonus to see the herons, ospreys and bald eagles...we thououghly enjoyed our vacation here!

We had a great time last week. Your place was great! The pictures don't do it justice. My daughters both caught a fish off the dock within 30 seconds of having their lines in the water! That went a long way in keeping their attention on fishing. We had a great time tubing as well. It sure brought back some very special memories for me. Hope to come back again next year. Thanks again for all your timely correspondence. I appreciate all the advice on boat rentals, etc.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful lake house...we had such a great time! We celebrated Phil's birthday with friends and had a great time waterskiing, wakeboarding and kneeboarding on the lake with the boat we rented. Our almost two year old son loved playing in the water, swinging on the hammock and feeding the fish and ducks at the marina. We hope to visit again soon!

I was unable to write in the book before we left so I wanted to send you a quick email and thank you for opening your lake house up to my family. We had a wonderful time even with a couple days of rain, that was at the very beginning of the stay and it cleared up for the weekend and was beautiful. We were able to relax and enjoy the view of the lake and my daughter loved the lake as well and going on the paddle boat with us. Thanks again I hope to come back soon.

Thank you, thank you for allowing us to share your home this past weekend. What a terrific place! We had a fabulous time, and the weather couldn't have been better.
We've rented 4 lake houses this past summer between Gaston, Kerr and Anna. Your house was our favorite, by far! We would definitely like to return as often as we can.
Thinking ahead to spring and summer, do you stay pretty booked? How early should we make our reservations? Do you rent long weekends in the summer, or only week to week? Sorry so many questions, we're just excited to return and want to plan ahead so both our children and families can join us next time...

was perfect...a bad thunderstorm Thursday night that cooled it off Friday, and a sunny hot day for on the lake Saturday! We loved it and are grateful for the use of your home. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Our kids start

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time at the lake. Your place is located perfectly. We were able to play in the cove with the water toys and were on the main lake in a minute. The kids caught several small fish from the dock and we caught a few catfish up by the sandbar outside Outdoor World.

Hi Carol - just a note to thank you for the use of your lovely home on the lake. We had a great week - The weather was rainy on the weekend, but from Monday on it was hot and sunny!
We did lots of boating and riding wave runners. I even tried to water ski which I haven't done in about 8 years and in the process I tore my hamstring on my left leg, so I was laid up a bit from Tuesday on - oh to be young again!!!
We are seriously thinking of renting your home again next summer. Do you have any weeks open the end of July - curious as to what your calendar looks like.

Our family wishes to Thank You all for allowing us to use your Lake home again this year...Jesse and his friend enjoyed the jet ski and had many hours of practice in the weeks preceding the visit, and did very well. There is a family of ducks with six fairly new ducklings that we fed on a daily basis, hope this was okay. They were adorable and have all been named. Jim thinks he would like to visit and fish possibly in October, so I will check house status in August to make arrangements. Got to go and unpack, again THANKS and have a great remaining summer.
