| My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of spending 5 days in this cozy and romantic retreat in the heart of Taksim. In addition to being clean and meticulously decorated the apartment is full of interesting artistic paraphernalia. Located in close proximity to clubs, bars and first class restaurants, which the wonderfully accommodating owner will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. All round excellent experience and comes highly recommended. |

| Stayed there October 2009. Very nice studio with mezzanine, professionally decorated (in my mind nicer than on the pictures! - to be showned in November 2009 decoration magazine!), clean, very well located in the hearth of Istanbul action but still very quiet. The owner is very nice. No problem at all staying there! |

| My husband and I very much enjoyed our 5 night stay at this centrally located apartment in Istanbul. The convenient location allowed us to walk to many of our destinations, from a jazz club near the Galata Tower, to the Dolmabahce Palace. The apartment was clean, sunny and provided everything we needed, including the feeling of being part of the neighborhood for a few days. |

My huband and I stayed in this charming and well located small studio for a week in September 2009. The owner and her daughter live in the building and are welcoming and hospitable hostesses. The apartment, although it is located only a block from bustling Istiklal Caddesi is quiet. The studio has a small kitchen, making it possible to make simple meals, as well as a bar fridge. One word of caution: the sleeping area, a loft with a queen sized mattress on the floor, is up a tiny circular staircase. If you are tall, as we are, you will find negotiating the stairs and then stooping to get to the bed a difficult process. If you are over about 5'5' you will not be able to stand upright. It is not for children or the less than nimble. Having said that, we had a great time and grew to love the neighbourhood. Both Nahide, a magazine editor and her mother Selma, an architect, had many good sighting seeing and restaurant suggestions. They speak very good English. Hope this helps. Roberta |
