The Apartment was better than advertised! Watching the boats pass by on the small canal was mesmerizing. It seems the place was recently renovated with high-end windows and doors providing very adequate security - we felt very safe about leaving our valuables there while out exploring.
Fillipo was timely and followed through on all arrangements that we agreed to.
If you like the looks of the listing, don't hesitate to book it. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the quality of the space.

What a wonderful apartment! My husband and I stayed here during the first week of September 2009. It is bright and comfortable and easily accommodated our needs. The apartment is also very quiet. While it is part of a larger building it has a private entrance and we never saw or heard any of the neighbors. It was fun to watch the different types of boats go past the living room windows.
It is centrally located, with all the sights of Venice just a short walk away. We loved wandering the neighborhoods with no particular destination in mind. The train station is about 7 minutes away by foot and the parking area about 10 minutes by foot, making trips to the surrounding countryside very convenient.
The rental process was easy and Filippo was very helpful in providing information prior to our trip. He even met us at the vaporetto stop and walked us to the apartment.
The apartment was delivered as advertised with one exception - there is no washer. Having been to Venice before, we wanted to travel light, so a place with a washer was key. We found a coin operated laundry across from the train station, so it all worked out in the end.

| Words cannot adequately describe the wonderful accommodations we had at Filippo’s apartment. It was everything and more. Location, Location, Location. Located just 2 vaporetto stops from the Santa Lucia Train Station in the quite neighborhood of Cannaregio. We were met by Filippo’s sister who took the time to go over everything we needed to know about the apartment and the surrounding area. When we arrived we felt very safe and secure as the entrance to the apartment was behind a locked wrought iron gate which led us through an open courtyard with vines and flowers. It was so nice and relaxing to sit on the couch and watch the various boats and gondola’s go by. Thank you Filippo, for the wonderful accommodations and the ease of doing business with you on this rental. |
