This is a great place to visit. If you kayak, there is no better place to launch from. This summer (2005), I took my Feathercraft Java and did some 14 kayak trips over the week that we were there. I got close and personal to a family of loons. This was something that other powerboats were unable to do. In addition, the lodge is a quiet place to rest. It is also a great place to act as a base for day trips to Traverse City, Frankfort, Leeland, Charlesvoix, and Mackinaw City. This is a great place and it has become part of our family's summer plans. |

| This is a wonderful and roomy property with beautiful views. The condo is extremely well equipped with games, toys, linens, and kitchen equipment. The washer and dryer are a huge bonus, and the owner makes sure there are detergent, coffee and other basic necessities to make your stay more comfortable. Location is perfect - a restaurant/bar across the street, a small market within easy walking distance, and just steps to the edge of Elk Lake. We've rented for the past two years, and are looking forward to returning next summer - |

Had the best time on vacation on the lake. The sunset cruise was the best! I would highly recommend this vacation site to all and will return here soon. Thanks for everything Joe and Lori Ann.
