| We stayed here with our two boys, 5 and 6 on a beautiful, sunny weekend. The Loft is wonderful, with windows looking every which way and lovely views across the valley. It is elegantly decorated, very comfortable and well eqipped (Anna and Chris have remembered all those small but important things like can openers, cork screws and even black out blinds in the bunk room). Chalford itself is a great place to stay, the kind of village that makes you think a move out of the city would be a very good idea. There is a playground just down the hill, a shop (with sweets) at the other end of the village, a stream at the bottom of the road and endless paths up the hills and into the woods. And there is plenty to do elsewhere as well, a farmers market in Stroud, a leisure centre for lousy weather days and plenty of good pubs within walking distance. I would highly recommend the Loft to anyone, as a romantic getaway for two, as a perfect bolthole for a family or as a great base for walking and exploring the whole area. We'll definitely be going back. |

Oh What a lovely loft ! We enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing week in Anna and Chris's spacious, yet so cosy apartment in this idyllic Cotswold village. With stunning countryside views from all aspects, the luxurious accommodation has all new mod cons, comfy beds and fabulous kitchen + bathrooms (there's even a lovely wood fire stove in the living area which was a doddle to light). Perfect for gorgeous, life-affirming walks in the countryside 50 meters from the front door; some lovely pubs serving delicious food (one of the best steaks we've eaten and we've eaten quite a few let me tell you) and the perfect base for traffic-free day (take the B-roads- ask Anna ) visits to Bath, Cheltenham (especially for the Arts and Jazz Festivals) and Hidcote Manor Gardens (one of the most beautiful in the UK - a must ) as well as the numerous villages ( we visited Minchinhampton, Painswick and Tetbury - all lovely). Sounds perfect ? It really is for all the reasons mentioned above -oh and really good value for money - so thanks again to our charming hosts - we will be returning in the Autumn (if they'll have us !) |

| My family spent a delightful weekend in the Weaver's Loft recently. It is beautifully furnished and has all mod cons in full working order! It is peaceful and surrounded by stunning views and wildlife. The Loft is well presented and and spacious. My children particularly enjoyed their comfy bunkbeds and making us tea in the morning! Our room was bright and airy with en-suite shower and loo, etc. All new and very clean. Wish we could have stayed for weeks!! Would thoroughly recommend the Weaver's Loft for good value accommodation for either family, two couples or one couple exploring or visiting friends. Superb! |
