| This was a vacation from right out of a movie!! Every morning my husband and I would wake up and enjoy the sunrise in the crows nest with a delicious cup of freshly brewed coffee. After a nice breakfast we would then hop in our rental car and peruse one of the 33 beautiful beaches on the exotic little island. Everywhere we went we were greeted with friendly faces and a new adventure. Joe and Sue offered some great suggestions on what to do on the island and with the help of some local ideas this was a stay that we won't soon forget. The staff was wonderful, very accomodating and nearly invisible. I would get carpal tunnel syndrome before I would be able to explain how incredible this vacation was...we'll be back very soon. |

As viewed on Trip Advisor dotcom: We had an incredible stay at the Almond Tree Villa. We were married in October and took our honeymoon in December and it couldn't have been more relaxing and fun. Joe and Sue greeted us at the airport, which was unexpected and unprecedented. The villa was quiet, safe, and clean, all huge requirements wherever we stay. The amenities were well thought out and provided such a pleasant experience. The charcoal grill built into the bar, the pool with the beautiful colors at night, the outside shower, and of course the breeze that flows into the bedroom while you’re sleeping. Of course I wouldn't do the villa justice if I didn't mention the view! There are captivating views of St. Maarten as well as the sunset. Being able to sit upstairs with the breeze blowing, watching the sunset all while listening to whatever music you like on the outside surround sound, need I say more. The villa was truly perfect for us. The staff was considerate and helpful. They answered all our questions and were practically invisible through our stay. Joe and Sue provided us with great recommendations for a variety of activities and sites to check out. We were entertained the whole vacation with their recommendations however we happen to stumble on a few on our own. We found a few fun activities that we would like to suggest to future guests. We love to explore and one of the best things we found on the island was scuba diving. We saw a variety of sea life including turtles (my favorite), 5ft. lobsters, barracudas, angel fish, parrot fish, coral reefs, and ship wrecks...and much much more!! We suggest using Douglas Carty, or as the locals call him...Dougy. He's been a dive master for 20 years and knows some very cool diving spots. Ask about his Father's Career in diving, it's amazing!! We also enjoyed two of the nine days at Rendezvous Bay. It's a beautiful beach and had tons of shells including conch shells. We had a blast trying to dig them up. We loved our stay and will hopefully be back soon

| We had a lovely stay at Almond Tree Villa and practically had the whole island to ourselves (Oct is low season). The villa offered many great ammenities and the view from the crow's nest was especially beaufiful. The property managers were very professional and made us feel at home. Will definitely look forward to a visit in the future. |
