What a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful house in the mountains! We had a college reunion gathering of women from New England and beyond (NJ, PA, and Switzerland!), and had a fantastic time! The house is large and was perfectly laid out for this sort of activity. Plenty of sleeping areas, and a large, open common area with TV, music, movies, games, and sitting areas. The kitchen is well equiped, and we cooked all our meals there. In spite of the season being just past it color peak, there were plenty of beautiful golden, orange, and red leaves in the trees. The house was a reasonable drive from several airports, and easy to find. The area is lovely, with lots of wonderful walks and activities (we had a wonderful ride up Mt. Cannon in a tram). We sat up late each night, soaking in the hot tub or hanging out in the common area listening to music, watching baseball (Go Red Sox!), and enjoying wine and cheese snacks. Everyone is already talking about a larger reunion next year in the same place!

| We had company ourselves, and were very happy to have found this beautiful setting for a few days to take everybody to. The owner was a pleasure to communicate with and helpful. This part of the White Mountain area is gorgeous, and right there off the deck is one of the best views. We cooked several meals and enjoyed the house as well as jacuzzi; the games included with the house; and went for a few lovely long walks from the yard. We had a wonderful time in the area and would certainly consider renting this property again. |

| Very nice house. My family and I really enjoyed the house and the views of the Franconia Range were spectacular. The hot tub, large deck pool table, and privacy were all nice additions. I would stay here again. |

We had a great stay in this lovely, well appointed
house. Pinball, Foosball and Hot Tub were big hits,
the view was amazing, and the owner was very
responsive and helpful. The location was ideal, as
well. We would definitely return if in the area. |

| The accomodations at the home were fantastic. We had a large group, including 10 children, but everyone enjoyed the space of the home and the activities the home had to offer. Even with two days of rain, everyone had a great time. If you want to stay in the Franconia Notch area, I would certainly recommend this rental. David, our host, was professional and prompt in his dealings with us and we would certainly do business with him again. |

We stayed over New Years weekend and had a fantastic time. While the skiing was far from desirable due to a lack of snow, the house was able to make up for it. Perfect floorplan for a large group of adults. The land is great, made for some good sledding and snowman making for the six inches of snow that we did get.

The house and location are great. A great house for famlies, lots of room and things for kids to do, pinball, games etc. The location is perfect, we are from NH and the house's location is close to everything that we wanted to do, Cannon, White Mtns, fishing, Franconia Notch, and Littleton where you can get all of your supplies.
We will be back.

| We spent a wonderful long weekend at this Franconia Notch Retreat. The house, spacious and welcoming, is a respite from the daily grind (and from a challenging hike), and the view from two of the bedrooms and the back deck of Mt. Lafayette are spectacular. Two robins nesting in the surrounding area were amusing, and no doubt, amused by us. Quality dining at the Franconia Inn, Rt. 116 South, a 10 minute drive, was superb and with the White Mountains as your backdrop, this is as good as it gets. |

| We stayed for 3 nights 7/4/06 - 7/7/06 and had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful with plenty of room and has an amazing view. We loved how the property was very private yet close to everything. We hiked, biked, and swam at Echo Lake. We highly recommend this property and definitely plan to stay again in the future! |

| We had a wonderful time at the house! The views were incredible, and it was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed visiting nearby Echo Lake, Lost River and The Basin. Our friends had a great time, too. We hope to be back again soon! |

Beautiful views of the White Mountains, very quiet and private, outstanding location for sightseeing, visiting nearby towns, and those wanting to hike and/or ski. The house has everything you need and more. An outstanding rental for small to larger groups, and you won't find a better value! |

| We had a group of 10 adults stay in the house, and it was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone, great views, and a very comfortable place to hang out. It was great to return from a long day of hiking and relax and eat on the deck. The area is also beautiful, with plenty for everyone to do. We're definitely hoping to return soon. |

We came to the New Hampshire White mountains for a cycling vacation this year not really knowing what to expect. After a cycling vacation in Vermont's Green Mountains in 2003, we are now hooked on the Whites! We found the house to be in very good shape and extremely well laid out. After a hard day of cycling it was nice for our group to come back to such a relaxing atmosphere. We spent many evenings out on the deck enjoying the incredible views the White Mountains. The barbeque on the deck was really nice and we used it most evenings. We even spotted a moose just off the back of the deck one evening and a bear the next morning (down by the road).
As far as location, it was perfect for us. Close enough to get to places, but remote enough to enjoy peace and quiet. We loved being able to start many cycling (road) routes directly from the house or in nearby Franconia or Lincoln. We were also able to ride in Vermont, Maine, and Quebec all within a 90 minute drive. We didn't get much opportunity to try Mountain Biking, but I was able to try a few local MTB trails and they were lots of fun and fairly challenging.
The lupines were in full bloom during our visit and the stands of lupines surrounding the house were beautiful.
Needless to say, we were quite pleased with our decision to rent this house and we plan to come back as soon as we can to this beautiful area. |

| My extended family enjoyed a great long weekend of skiing in the White Mountains. The house was perfect for a large group. With two eating areas there's enough room for the kids at one table and the adults at another. The open floor plan lets you be in the kitchen and not miss a beat on the social scene. We have been renting chalets all over New England for about 15 years - this was definitely one we would repeat! |

WE had a terrific time, the house was absolutely beautiful there was 13 of us and the comfort level for all was consider a 5 star. The home is extremely neat and the views are breathe taking. The children
will enjoy the house just as much as the adults. So don't hestiate go for it and enjoy yourselves; WE DID! |

| Over the past two years I have attended The Frost Place Festival of Poetry and have stayed at this home during my week in Franconia. It offers a beautiful, welcoming interior space coupled with magnificent views of the mountains. It is certainly a place I plan to return to next year. |
